salty said that it's kind of a word play / homophone of his real name that his nickname became salty. that must be the same for shrimpie too... these words have no relation to the characters but the way they sound in chinese do! These words basically sound similar to the character's real name. It's not like he's actually a salty guy and the other person is a sea animal (shrimp)
I believe nobody would ever tell you to not to watch RESET.....it's a must must must watch drama! Idek why you have kept it there up until this point.
One drama I feel you would feel highly skeptical about would be- spirealm because of its never ending-like amount of episodes and so did I thought at first when everyone else was actually hyping it up. but believe me, in all those 70+ eps., each ep is worth the watch. during starting 2-3 eps. you won't feel any difference but the story picks up a direction after that and I bet you, it's the kind of drama that majority of the people are bound to enjoy due to the kind of scripts that I've seen getting famous worldwide. Just go for it already!
Another 2 dramas I really would wanna promote on my side, which I believe every seasoned drama watcher would recommend are: Crossfire and light to the night. The mystery part in both these are gonna make you stay up all night with unsatisfiable curiosity until you reach to the end. If you love mystery thrillers, these two are highly recommendable and the moment you'll watch their 1st ep. you will know what I'm talking about. These two are just 1 episode away into hooking you!
All the four dramas I've covered are the kind of dramas I recommend even to people who are not into chinese dramas or any asian drama for that matter. They are super high in quality and direction style that they deserve a worldwide appreciation and could easily stand next to globally famous series like money heist, breaking bad and such. You should not miss these high quality stuff for sure!

their chemistry is good, but the dialogues are terrible and most of them feel unnecessary. scriptwriter did a good job, dialogue writer made it boring and lame
idk why people in korea are not appreciating this dramas efforts....I get all the shit about corporal punishment but in fact, all they did was tit-for-tat. When victims suffered from the same issues nobody came forward, but when perpetrator was punished using the same method, now everyone has problems. I'm gad that it's being well received in other countries!

First of all I do not support racism as well but for corporal punishment I have a different take. By saying that this drama should be taken as a base to implement better education system.... I mean that innocent student's plight should be taken in consideration. With the rule of teachers can't hit students at all, there's literally a hell lot of amusingly worse things happening in schools. When teacher had too much power to hit students , at that time too student suffered and now since they don't have any bad students ruin the whole atmosphere for teaching and even bully other kids to the point of committing suicide. If you believe or not, but teachers have indeed started getting scared of the very kids they are meant to teach , more and more people are leaving this profession. It's all facts out there. I'm not saying to implement corporal punishment bcuz doing that will take us back to how things were. But I do promote creation of something like ERPB who doesn't get influenced by rich kids or influential teachers. And who stands by the victim , not by either teachers or students. A lot of students only rely on schools for education due to limited financial resources and when the learning environment is compromised by anyone in the school, it creates huge impact. There should be a bureau that actually is not scared of anyone and has the authority to interfere to punish the people who commit any crime towards violation of education rights LAWFULLY. Not like now, when the issues are merely swept under the rug
