Cute and Lightweight romcom

So, I just finished binge watched it. Here’s my review:

Cast:
I decided to watch this mini series because of the “Male Cast” Teo Yoo and Kim Ji Hun. Both are hot af

The chemistry between the Main Lead seem natural to me, But TEO YOO!!! He’s great at leading the their “lovey dovey” scenes, the way he talks and body language throughout the series are natural. Their overflowing chemistry during their romantic scenes got me screaming and giggling because of how cute it was. Because holy moly they’re really cuteeeee!!

Teo Yoo the ML is always look down on girls due to his past. He thinks that girls are weak, only care about guys money, but then he meet the FL which he have never meet any girls who’s like her, she’s the opposite of how she think of girls are

Kim Ok Vin, I think she’s great for portraying her Independent, Brave, No Bullshit character. the FM hates men and always doubtful of men intention towards women because of how her dad treat her mom (patriarchy). Tbh, I was rooting for her in early episodes when she’s so cool with sleeping around, acting nonchalant to men. Because sleeping around is identically MEN thing, but our FL proof them wrong. She can sleep around without catching any feelings.

But I cringed at first how drastically she changed when she’s finally in a relationship with ML. Love can make you do cringy things you’ve never done before. I’m talking about the aegyo lol, it’s cringed but I feel relate because people know her as a badass woman and she don’t need no man, but god knows that all the independent women out there is actually waiting for a man like the ML.

I don’t have any complain about the Cast acting, although I wish Kim Ji Hun was paired with his co-star from Money Heist (which is not) and a pity, The FL best friend’s cool but I’ve always don’t like her in almost all of her dramas. But I still couldn’t get over when Kim Seon Ho is her love interest in Strongest Delivery Man.

the STORYLINE/PLOT is lightweight

I love the Leads characters and their BFF relationship. It’s a fast-paced drama but towards the end they kinda rush it so they can complete it in 10 eps. Since I love hate to love trope, I’d give this a 8/10 for the hate-to love trope. I feel like if they could make this to 12-16 eps, it’ll be more fun and more in-depth the characters are. I feel like we only see the glimpse of their characters. I mean they could dig deeper of the characters. Because I like the theme “feminist and the patriarchal storyline”

Also the BFF love storyline is unnecessary for me, IMO it’s a bit forced.

BUT I’M QUITE SATISFIED WITH THE DRAMA, I’d rewatch it again for sure when I’m sad or need something to cheer me up when I feel like my love life is empty, or a mess because I feel bit relate with the FM character.

Underrated K-Drama that blew my mind

Well, well, WHAT A GEM!!!!

If anyone is considering to watch this drama, I’m here to give you maybe some glimpse and how I felt while watching and after I finished this drama.
First of all, THE STORY

THIS IS BRILLIANT, kudos to the writer(s) for creating this one of kind story. I love that this is a fast-paced kind of story, I didn’t get bored at all. It’s intriguing to watch how the story unfolds, I love that it keeps me sitting on the edge of my seat, trying to guessing what would happen next?
It’s kinda sad, I cried few times lol
Although, I still have like 2 or 3 questions about some event that happened and how would the 2nd season story begin. I guess they would unfolds it in the 2nd season?

The ACTING

I was astonished by the actors and the actresses acting. Especially when they were sobbing their eyes out, I was crying while watching their crying scenes but also amazed like “dang, these people acting are no joke”

-SPOILERS!!!!!!
Some scenes impressed me, like when the

Girlfriend got found, and she was sipping her tea, she slowly disappeared while SMILING.
And when they were sitting next to each other, sobbing crying on their wedding day. That sh! hit me harddddd.
The last scene of Go Soo *I forgot his character name* and the Mother, too.

I love both ML, their bromance like Father-Son relationship, their acting, THEY WERE THAT GOOD FOR ME.

The moment I finished watching this drama, I felt RELIEVED. This drama is def have its own charm, and you should watch it.

I also read that the 2nd season is currently filming, I can’t wait.

The ideal rom-com

I just finished the 12th episode that out 2-3 hours ago and came here to write a review of “WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH THIS ROM-COM” lol but no seriously?!

Keywords:
UPLIFTING MOOD. THE IDEAL OF ROM-COM. WHOLESOME. CUTE. FUNNY. FRIENDSHIP

If you need something cute, uplifting mood drama to watch, you should def watch this.

I don’t think there is a single moment of me bored by watching the show because the show is just really entertaining, IT’S A LIGHT, HAPPY GO LUCKY ROMANCE COMEDY K-DRAMA.

Literally the ideal of romance comedy, IMO it doesn’t have any draggy scenes nor story filler. It’s compact.

The 1st half of the drama is so D*MN FUNNY, and then the 2nd half is SO CUTE AND WHOLESOME.

I love the main couple and the second lead couple. Each one of the couple have their own story and moments. Though yes, the second main couple is cute as heck.

But what I love about this drama too is the “FRIENDSHIP” between Ha-ri and Yeong-So, I wish I had that kind of friend, they’re friendship is solid, they’re always there for each other. I’m so jealous of anyone who have this kind of friendship:’)

The other side characters are entertaining to watch too, such as Tae-Mo’s grandpa and Ha-ri’s family and her teammates, and Yeong-So cousin that girl is so funny.

I find myself giggling over the their cute interactions and laughing while watching the teammates scenes.

I’m satisfied with the 12 episodes and i think it’s really ideal for any “rom-com” to go with 12 eps only.

I underestimated this c-drama, kept on HOOKED

I thought this is gonna be another silly action/mystery drama, but turns out it keeps on hooked the entire time. I even binge-watched it.

TBH, the reason I wanted to watch this drama is Neo but he wasn’t exactly the ML. But, I’m guessing that he’s gonna be more seen on the S2. Since the story I supposed would be focus on the 4 leads.

-No romance but it’s def worth to watch, the mix of comedy, action and mystery blends rly well, *imo*.

This is the first non “romcom” chinese drama I’ve ever watch but it’s worth it.

I'm rewatching it again, but it's unnecessarily LONG, and draggy.

TBH, I LOVE THIS DRAMA. I'm currently rewatching it again with 2x speed playback for Johnny Huang. Because he look mad hot in this drama.

Johhny Huang character? I don't really have complain about his character, not. He portrays a good military man, his actions, how he react to stuff and what he says are all good.

Xia Chu the FL, I'm not rly a fond of her character, she's a doctor but I feel like some of her actions here is not a good representation of a doctor. But she's a fair enough character (for me)

My fav character in this drama is the CAT lol

however this drama is UNNECESSARILY LONG. 40 eps? Bruh, they could've at least shorten it up a bit, esp the conflict with Zhou Ran. It's to DRAGGY...

Mi-Gu is the worst best friend anyone could get, and Xia Chu forgave her?
Zhou Ran is also such a dramatic, annoying villain.

I was expecting the villain character would be more like villain, but him? He was just annoying af.

WHAT A GEM

I just finished watching this movie and OMG THIS IS BLEW MY MINDS AWAY.

-INTENSE, MYSTERIOUS, BLOODY.
THIS WILL DEFINITELY KEEP YOU AT THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT!!!!

KIM DAMI and WOO-SHIK micro expressions are on point, brilliant. The way they portrayed the character is flawlessly beautiful, that I was in awe for some certain moment because how precisely on point their micro expressions are. I wonder how did they acted these crazy, psychopath scenes. KIM DAMI DUALITY REALLY BLEWS MY MIND! But we can’t just leave behind WOO-SHIK PSYCHOPATH ACTING, he look crazy from the beginning.
The other characters too, need appreciations. They’re just great!! I love everyone’s acting.

The story, tbh at first I was confused. Whether to consider this has some supernatural element or not, BUT NO. It’s all the brain works, because they’re all trained, they were subject.
The little hints here and there about Ja-Yoon won’t get notice if we’re nt really paying attention to the movie. Though, at some moment I think they should’ve cut it bit more short for some scenes but all good.

OH AND THE CINEMATOGRAPHY, THE COLOUR THEME OF THIS MOVIE, LOVED IT.

I REALLY WISH KIM DAMI AND WOOSHIK WOULD BE BACK FOR THE PART 2, and new characters too. Because I saw the news, both actors aren’t coming back for part 2, or was it another actress as the main lead instead of kim dami? But I hope they’ll bringing wooshik back too though.

I'm blown away by how this drama was written, by how they developed each character. The story itself is so well written, there's no single episode that i don't like. Why i like it so much? because i could crying in this moment and then 5 minutes later i'm laughing, the first and last episode are my favorite episode, you'll know if you watched it already.
I feel like this drama is so realistic, especially the first to second episode. It show us that life is unfair to everyone and i don't want to agree with that but that's the reality, the richer is getting richer because they have money which can lead to wider connection while the poorer getting poorer because they don't have money and they couldn't "afford the connection like the richer did". All the cast did a great job on portraying their character as well, I also stunned by Bae Sung Wo and Lee Kwang Soo acting, the female leads too did a great job on brings the characters to life. I love drama's who's their female lead have a strong character, like Captain An and Han Jung Oh. I can't express how precious this drama is, it's just so good, so realistic.

WOW, This drama is one of the best drama I've ever watched. I want to give an applause to the writer of this drama because well usually it'll be boring if the there's only one case to solve but this one is not boring at all.
Let's say it is a well developed story because the key point of this story is one case, everything was started from the park-moo sung dead, and then things getting more intense and interesting, the plot twist is here and there. I was also intrigued by how the actors/actresses portraying their each character, especially the main characters.
The actor that played prosecutor hwang is seriously good on portraying his emotionless character, there was one time, i mean the first time he smile to the Ms. Police and omg i'm falling for him. how he handle situations where it require him to show what he feels about something when he's character is emotionless is daebak. He delivered his emotions through his eyes and how he developed his character is excellent.
The main actress which it's Bae Doo Na, she's nailed it too. Her character is not like any main female characters in any kdrama, She looks like a real person who went through some things that makes her become strong yet not forgettable.
The plot-twist was shocking because i thought the villain is the lawyer but it turns out it's not him.
I'd like to write some more but it's gonna be too many spoiler lol, but seriously this a highly recommended drama.
I heard that they're gonna make it to season 2, can't wait for it!!

Based on personal opinion. The main actors and actresses was nailed it in portraying their character but such a pity because i feel like the story is lack something so there's some plot hole here and there. The ending is disappointed for me and it kinda makes me angry and i feel like i just wasted my 2 hour, it's quite unclear for me about the ending. Some part i feel i know it before it happened so yeah, i mean it's quite expected.
The character:
i would give it 9/10 for Ryu Jun Yeol for potraying his character, it makes him the center of this movie, i can feel his emotion through the entire movie.
Jo Jong Suk was nailed it too so i'd like to give him 8.9/10, in this movie he impressed me how for portraying his character because he's a jerk here and yeah it makes me hate him because he's ruthless and crazy af.
Gong Hyo Jin was good, imma give her 8.5/10. She's the main character but it feels like these two above are the center from this movie. I mean she's good and badass but i don't know why i feel like her character can be more than this.

Rewatching it again for the 3rd or 4th time

As someone who loves medical drama, this hands down to be in my top 3 best medical drama I’ve ever watched.

No matter how many times I rewatch this drama, I absolutely enjoy every minute of it.

I have no complain about the plot, nor the pace of this drama.

The love story between the 2 main lead is BEAUTIFUL.

I’m a big fan of Ji-Sung and he portrays Cha Yo Han as someone who’s a bit mysterious, crazy, genius and all that really good. How he carry himself portraying his character shows that he is indeed deserved all the love and the support from everyone who enjoys seeing him as an actor.

Lee Se Young, well she’s been acting since she was a child. So, i like her here. Though sometimes I think that she might be a little dramatic at some point, but it’s just my opinion.

No complain whatsoever about the side characters.

Funny, Bubbly, Feel Good, Light Rom-Com

Well, i’ve been seeing this SUPER MINI SERIES on my Tiktok FYP. After sitting on my watchlist for awhile, I decided to give it a try. I didn’t know at first that this is a super mini series, some episodes is not even 3mins.
But throughout the series, I couldn’t help but smiling from their cute encounters.
Also, I didn’t see any plot holes while watching the series,I enjoyed every second of it. Though I wish it was longer than this, like 15-30 mins at least? The storyline moves so fast, it’s like everything is in 2.0x speed. But I’m not exactly complaining since I love fast-phased dramas.

I love the ML flirtatious with the FL, she was so shy lol. I will definitely re-watch it again!!!

I love each of these characters, I love the main leads. Watching their cute scenes makes me wonder, am i watching a real couple or they were just acting. Because it felt so real!

I love the story as well, usually, the man would be the strong-minded one. While in this drama, it’s the opposite. About the pace of the drama, I think I’m fine with it, it's not too slow nor too fast.

I adore how NANA portrays her character, she's cheerful, she did not give up when it seems like she's not favorable to run the office.

While the man leads, he might seem like he’s not a strong character but he is! It just that’s how he appears as. I love that he always be there for her, when she runs the office.

When IRL, the woman is portrayed as the one behind the success of the man, this one is the opposite.

When I started this drama, I don’t have any expectation that this drama would be one of my favorite romcom kdrama. I just love everything, how the story goes, how all characters portray their characters and oh the OST.
But I have to admit that Lee Eun Jung is my favorite character, I feel sympathized with her story, her love story is somewhat tragic. When she finally realized her bf is gone, the studio scene, I cried my eyes out. Though I was hoping to see more of her and the Director but I’m satisfied enough with her ending story. The main couple, they are hilarious, how they were bickering and then suddenly they turn to lovey-dovey couple, love ‘em.

I watched this drama twice and might watch it again when I’m bored and looking for something light and entertaining to watch.

There isn’t much to see here but

Well, I’m on ep 28 rn, and tbh i rly want to drop it but I’m continuing this drama for the sake of the ML lol

CONS
-Too many unnecessary scenes and I literally skip forwards because even if you skip forward some scene, you won’t get left behind.
-The storyline, there’s nothing new here. I don’t usually complained about mainstream rom-com storyline, but the amount of unnecessary minor dramas between everyone here is too much. For 45 eps, they should cut it short to 24-28 eps.
-The SML is indeed creepy, he’s everywhere, i thought i’d see more like a mature bad-boy kind of SML but oh he’s creepy. The SFL, does all the evil SFL likes here too? she’s just annoying lol.

PROS
-The only thing that keeps me continue watching this drama rn, is actually THE MALE LEAD. Jesus, HIS GESTURE LOOKS SO NATURAL, I couldn’t help but smile when the couple are together. His gesture, his body language, the way he’s looking at the FL. This is my first drama of him, so yeah. Will definitely check out his other works too.
-The FL, well I don’t have much to say about her. I think she fits ok with the character, there’s def chemistry between the Main Couple.
-And the cousin couple too, they’re cute.
-Although the storyline is kinda meh, but the VISUAL and the CULTURE in this drama, loved it. It’s like I get more knowledge about the chinese designs, etc.

Hopefully I won’t drop this though:)
