No, that guy is disgusting. Thereβs literally a part where he tells Bambi he should have just fucked her, like…
No I totally agree, I watched this and wrote this in the middle of the night so some things got blurry and shortened lmfao.
I do admit I liked him at first and don't like how Bambi played him, but Bambi also was clear in her body language she didn't want it. That also shows that anybody can be a piece of shit, even the ones you think are nice at first. I believe they both were in the wrong solely based on communication issues, but that didn't give him the right at all to do that either. Sure he was hurt and that was a dick move on Bambi's part, but seriously who the fuck says or does that shit after their feelings get slightly hurt? Could have stayed friends instead of turning into that shit and losing everything.
Honestly when I say I liked him at first I mean before the whole confessing and kiss. After that he can just fuck off for being a huge piece of rotting trash. After that, he was a disgusting asshole and I agree with everything you just said, so honestly ignore my section on him because my sleep deprived brain shut off
Comedy isn't one of my favorites because I tend to get second hand embarrassment very easily, but this one was pretty good. It wasn't my favorite, I think it started off good then dropped a bit, but I still looked forward to a new EP every week. I love bossnoeul so much and they played this beautifully, it was really fun seeing Boss play that kind of role. I'm just upset that the other couples didn't get a lot of progression, I enjoyed them a lot. I think they should have given them more of a story or focused on the main couple more, or limited it to one side couple. I saw that to be continued, so i hope that if there's a second season we get to see where those couples go!
Not the best but not the worst, I was expecting it to be a bit better based on some clips I've seen. It dragged a bit and the ending felt incomplete. The relationships were a bit everywhere, there were stupid misunderstandings, and the redemption arc could have been way better. I do like how long it took him to actually forgive, but at the same time I think he should have tried harder to earn forgiveness than what was shown. I liked the 2nd couple better than the main, and the brother was my favorite character.
There were a lot of cringe moments where I thought about stopping but I honestly really liked the plot. The whole age thing was a little weird especially being only a sophomore in high school with a college student, but I'm at least glad they didn't kiss or do anything until it was deemed acceptable after Noey was older. Ik the actual actors age gap was weird too so I'm glad they didn't do anything too extreme.
I also just have to mention this here because I laughed so hard at it, the part where Thiw called that guy an idiot at the volunteer place and he just accepted his fate had me cackling π
I wish this was longer and explained some more things, especially with who the new brother really is.
I have a weird feeling that he is either the actual older brother (which would indicate incest) or maybe someone who knows the older brother (the "friends" the dad was speaking about?) Bc how else would he know that sungwoo is gay? that he "didn't act like this with his brother?" It makes sense though, maybe he left because of the feelings towards his brother and maybe something happened to show that they were both gay and that's how he knows? Idk π€·π½
Overall I did like the story, the complexity of the characters in such a short amount of time was great
You have no idea how happy I am that they're putting so much into this π The smelling/scents (especially with the clothes and getting lost in it), the uncontrollable heat paired with the fear of it, the wild ass uncontrollable mating, the crying/fearful reaction to the intense scent. omg my omegaverse heart it's beautiful I'm so happy they're paying attention to so many details
I didn't know we were getting a special episode but oh my god I'm so happy that we did πβ€οΈ All 10 of them being there and seeing more interactions was the best, I will never get over this series or this cast. I'm gonna miss them so muchhhh
Words can't put into how much I loved this masterpiece. This series was absolutely beautiful. The absolute power and emotion in the silent scenes, the actions and expressions just speak louder than words. Two boys trying to figure out their path, their love, their faith, it's a rollercoaster of fear, sadness, acceptance, and happiness.
Tanrak scared that God wouldn't love him for loving a man but finally accepting himself, breaking rules he never has before all because of Barth. Passing notes, flowers, playing music together, so many new experiences that ended up terrifying him to the point of burning things and pushing Barth away. Running away together and realizing he didn't have to choose between God or Barth, he could have both. Barth not believing in the power of God to getting the willpower to pray all by himself. Not to mention the scene with him and his mom. He wasn't questioning God, he was questioning if he would ever be chosen over God, the fear from Tanrak choosing God over everything finally being said. With all the self doubt between him, God, and Tanrak, I'm so glad they finally found themselves and loved the way they wanted to, together.
I literally can't say any other way to describe it than powerful, beautiful, impactful. There were so many quotes and moments that just hit me in this show.
"If God teaches us to love, but we're not allowed to love each other, then what's the point of having god in this world?" Oh my lord save me π
"I'm not God's favorite son" "I'm not God's favorite either" After literally dedicating his life to God oh I'm sick. Thjs being their confession to each other too π
So many quotes and phrases from this show that I can name but I'll stick with those. Also, the image of them standing in front of the ticket to heaven painting while holding hands oh my goddd. They juked me out with the ending I honestly thought Tanrak became a priest, but it was Kongdech which makes so much more sense, especially after saying only one from the class got all the way I was like...huh? But i'm glad they still were friends and went to his ceremony. I also love how Tanrak and Barth turned out, them running away to live a life together (MARRIED TOO? THEY HAVE RINGGGGSSS) but coming back and Tanrak confessing to father and the father helping him, then showing the three times they hug and father telling him it's ok π
Sorry this was so long but it was literally perfection I could say so much more, so I'll leave more quotes I loved: "Love isn't a sin. God created humans with a heart, with feelings. But it's our actions that we must take responsibility for" "You can love God and love yourself at the same time" "Do you think there is a place up there for the two of us?"
Lots of comments on finale episode so Iβll offer my conclusion as well:- Xu Yuan went there to wish, not to…
This is my favorite interpretation and I completely agree, I just wish we had some sort of indication in the actual show that they got out safe and his illness got cured, proving that their efforts worked and they will be together forever like they screamed out on the beach β€οΈ (I also say this as someone not a fan of open endings lol)
I really liked this show a lot, but I absolutely hate open endings π There should at least be a special episode explaining what happens after that cuz I get the whole "I found you before we die" thing but like, did they actually die? If not, did Zhan Wang get his treatment after finding him?
I saw a comment under here that I agree with, that Xu Yuan made his wish and Zhan Wang found him so they both got what they wanted, and they'll still have time to leave the impact sight because it will take a bit for tsunamis and all that. I like this interpretation as it definitely would be a waste if they just died after all that, being "lucky stars" and all that. This is also one of the only shows where I actually enjoyed the flashbacks at the end, but I wish there was more story than flashbacks
Besides the ending, this is one of my favorite shows. I love sick characters, and that paired with a "jinx" was perfect. I also love how it showed he was still sick and the writers didn't just completely forget about it until he had to go to the hospital at the end like I've seen some shows do. The plot was great, and the backstories were good I just wish we had a little more of them, especially with the revelation of his dad liking a man, more about his brother dealing with going deaf and his bf dying, and more of the relationship between Zhan Wang and his grandma. I also know they talked about it, but also seeing more of Xu Yuans backstory with his father/fathers death would be cool too.
Both the main and side pairings were so cute and I love how they got together and their chemistry was amazing!!! And don't even get me started on the main couples tattoo scene, absolute perfection. And the side couple coming out to the whole school was so impactful!
I always end up saying on shows that are 20-30 min in length each episode that they need to be 40min-1hr in length π
I really liked this! Although I feel like there were plot holes, I really enjoyed the overall story. They were so cute together! I wish that it was longer and went more into backgrounds and filled those plot holes tho, I feel like it could have been better in that sense.
Also, you cannot convince me that man was a cop π
This started off great but ended kinda weak, I feel like so much more could have happened. I feel like there wasn't really any depth to the characters and the dialogue was really long and kinda boring at times. The main couple was great but I feel like they should have focused on their actual relationship more, with backstories, going more into healing from past trauma than they did, and more screen time.
I don't mind GL, they were really cute, but I feel like they had more screen time than the actual main couple and they were really awkward with each other the whole time. Not to mention the 3rd "couple," I loved them so much but they went nowhere. I wish all of the relationships and even the plot developed more.
I adored literally all of them this was an amazing show. I want more overpowered Mun ππΌ
I loved the group dynamic so much, had me laughing, crying, everything in between. I cried at so many things lmao, from little things like when Muns leg was fixed to the big points like when he met his parents. It would have been cool if Mo Tak met Muns dad again tho. And dont even get me started on Ms Chu and her son I love them π
Also I wish that other counter didn't die so soon after being introduced I loved him. I want to know what happened to the spirit tho, he entered Mun and was alive but we never saw him after that? And that blue power up was awesome, I wish we saw that visual come back in the big fight. I also want to know about Ha Nas family.
I kinda wish Muns 2 best friends played a bigger part, maybe unofficially working with them because they kinda know but kinda don't. Also, I'm a sucker for bully redemption arcs I loved his character.
Maybe I'll see it next season, so time to watch season 2 ππΌ
I love this so much π Both pt 1 and pt 2 are equally as good and I need to rewatch all of it again I swear
Out of both, I think the order of my favorite to least favorite (although don't get me wrong I love them all) would have to be: 1) Johan and North 2) Fah and Typhoon 3) Arthit and Dao 4) Tiger and Nao 5) Hill and Easter
But but like I said don't get me wrong, I adore all of the stories.
For pt 2 specifically, Fah and Typhoons story was my favorite with Arthit and Dao being a very close second. I loved Tiger and Nao's story too, but I feel like it dragged a bit and just jumped right into it at the end. But they're absolutely adorable I love them. I loved every character and I love the unique stories, couple dynamics, and friendship dynamics.
I think it would have been cool to see how Tiger and Dao would have interacted with the other group though, but I like how it showed North's other friend group and went deeper into that dynamic
It was pretty good, but 8 totally deserved worse and I honestly think that after all that torture they would be worse after it, especially if they went their separate ways. Sure some of them got back to their lives, but I mean 3 was already contemplating offing himself beforehand and wasn't doing so good afterwards and even attempted. I feel like it just didn't make sense, ya know? Not that I want him to die or anything but I feel like there should have been a better way for him to finally be like "oh I'm gonna move forward" than just the funeral and seeing everyone for probably the last time. Sure he has money, but what is he gonna do now when he had "no skills" before?
If there is ever gonna be a season 2 like the post cred scene hinted, I feel like they should all meet again or at least show how they go through their lives after suffering like that, maybe getting caught in it again or something similar. I would like to know more about them, especially more on 3s mental state, 7s life, and what 6 is doing now.
