I feel like this series is dragging, these past couple episodes have nothing going on plot wise but at the same time everything is moving so fast with the relationships and possible pregnancy. I hope it picks back up because I was so excited for this!
Also I really wish they showed the nesting more, it looked like Nakhun was the one who nested instead of Phatsa. I would have loved to see Phatsa start to take clothing, start nesting by instinct and wonder what he just did. I also think the pregnancy is going way too fast. Don't get me wrong I'm happy to see pregnancy in this show, but Phatsa barely knows about omegaverse and how to deal with everything and now all of a sudden he's possibly pregnant? (Maybe he's not and we get to see that scene in the pilot where he tells Nakhun to get him pregnant 👀)
The second couple is also cute but I find barely any chemistry and like their relationship is also moving too fast (NC scene was pretty good though, THE TONGUE HELLO?!). I also hope Phatsas dad sticks around because him showing up just for saying the reason he wasn't told about omegaverse was kinda a waste, I need him to have that family bond with him, find out about Nakhun and his family, etc! (also was I tripping or I thought ongsa was Phatsas brother? did he just not mention him in the story or was I wrong?)
Also just a small preference, I really wish they incorporated the animalistic sounds in some omegaverse like growling, purring, etc that would have been cool! (I totally imagined Phatsa purring in that nest just now)
The plot had the potential to be good but it was so poorly executed, and on IQIYI the subtitles disappeared halfway through each episode so I barely understood anything.
This could have been better in so many ways, one of them being the Stockholm syndrome shown way better. He would not have fallen that fast after the abuse, r*pe, everything, and definitely not getting married and happy that fast without any trauma. Also, I thought the brother committed suicide, but now he's unconscious in the hospital? I'm so confused.
I love dark stories, I love kidnapping and stockholm syndrome tropes, but this was not good.
The way I see it is he commited suicide once he found the flower, to be reborn. And then a bear probably found…
That's such a good interpretation oh my god. I just need a confirmation on what actually happened cuz that hurt 😭 But from what people are saying he dropped his phone like he was scared, so many he actually did want to start a new life and be better but then the bear came
God this was one of the best series I've ever watched. Min and Toptap played these roles beautifully. I don't want this series to end, the cinematography, action scenes, plot, everything was amazing. The chemistry between them was on point. The friendships between everyone was great. The villains made me hate them so much. The portrayal of the dark side of the industry. 10/10.
I'm so glad they got a happy ending. I'm glad Sun can show more emotion now. I'm glad all the hard work with Jay getting his mother's company back paid off. I'm glad Sky overcame his fear of cameras and is a main actor! (and I was lowkey rooting for him and Pakin to have something going on 👀 props to that nude photoshoot too, Min looked STUNNING in that photo). I'm glad the manager is also doing great, and I'm happy Two-O is safe from that maniac (That poor guys gonna have so much trauma). Glad that man is dead.
As for Sunny, I'm glad he is dealing with the consequences of his actions, but I definitely feel 50/50 with what the consequences were. On one hand, he killed someone and basically sold his coworkers as sex slaves, so he deserves harsh consequences. On the other hand, what happened after was way too harsh for anyone even if he was a completely awful person. Nobody deserves that. But I mean hey, you were selling out other people, don't be surprised when it happens to you.
It would be awesome to have a season 2 or special episode, but at the same time this was already perfection. One of the best adaptations of a novel I've seen. Definitely on my constant rewatch list. I also have to give so many props to their NC scenes, I mentioned in the comments before when EP 8 aired how it was the most beautiful and realistic one I've seen, SO MANY PROPS TO THEM! Toptap and Min, I really hope you do more series together ❤️
This was so funny and so cute! I'm so glad we saw more RomeMok, I loved their scenes. (THE RINGGGG!) Also, EMIII!!!! I'm glad she made an appearance!
The last episode had me DYING of laughter, all the cameos within the "GMMTheeV" joke using their actual names was hilarious. We love TayNew, JimmySea, JuniorMark, and ForceBook (and ofc PerthSanta!). I love how chaotic Thee still is and how Peach is just so used to it, but you can tell Peach adores Thee.
That's also fair. On one hand if he took his life then it was his decision that he could actually make himself to finally be at peace. On the other hand, yes he died right when he was starting to live again, but it also shows that he DID want to live. I always find it more tragic when they end their own life, it shows they went through so much suffering to make that decision. Overall he just shouldn't have died 😭
Honestly, I hope this is true that it was an animal and that he didn't commit. I don't want him to die at all but since he did I'd rather it be the (unnecessary) animal death than him commiting, I can't take the heartbreak if he committed
Did he commit suicide? I'm also seeing comments saying that he died from an animal, is that true? Maybe Changyang actually saw his mauled body and that's why he didn't bring him back? Or if he committed, Changyang didn't want them to see that either? Or he saw signs of the attack and all that was left was the shoe... but wouldn't he have his phone too if Quin Tian dropped it? (unless he did and I didn't see).
I hate that they killed him bro. If it was suicide then it honestly does accurately portray how one can say they're doing better but they just say that to stop people from worrying. If it was an animal then that's unnecessary bro 😭 He was finally trying to move on... I wanna have false hope that he's still alive and Changyang didn't find a body
Although I'm devastated and think that was unnecessary, they made that scene beautifully with how they portrayed him going back into the earth, into the mountain. If it was suicide, it's kind of like him deciding to let go, be that firework into the stars, become free. If it was an animal, it's like mother nature seeing his suffering and bringing him into her embrace.
Wait that's actually so cool, I was a bit confused on the ending but that explains it so much better! So to put it in other words, FC and GZ were reading a novel that was made based on the story of how ZX and ZZ fell in love while acting for the story of FC and GZ? Is that right?
This was an amazing series I will never get over this! The ending?!?! So this whole thing was Fang Chi and Gao Zhun acting in a movie as the fictional characters Zhen Xin and Zhang Zhun who act in a movie based on irl Fang Chi and Gao Zhun? Am I right? So what we thought was the characters acting in a movie was actually them acting as themselves, while what we thought was out of the movie was them actually acting?
Either way, this was absolutely beautiful. The emotions, turmoil, the whole problems with the industry and dating, they did this so well! I wish it didn't have to end.
(This is long my bad lmao) This was such a good series oh my god. I felt so much emotion with them figuring out their lives, growing up, what to do after high school, and how everything would be changing. I especially connected to Ko Neung with that whole ordeal, not wanting things to change and not knowing what to do after high school. I'm 22, went to college for 2 degrees and I STILL don't know what to do! This hit so close to home.
I wish Keaton had more scenes though, especially within the last episode. I wish he joined their little gang, or even if he didn't I wish August talked about him and their relationship more. I also would have loved to see scenes where/when the rest of the gang actually found out who was dating who, along with the families (even if it was obvious lol). I'm glad everyone was accepting of it too.
But overall this was an amazing series, the chemistry between the actors (whether friendship or relationship) were amazing. Such a good friendship within the group making me miss my old friend group! There were so many nice, grown-up conversations between them trying to help each other after misunderstandings, showing how close everyone in this group is no matter who was bickering.
AlmondProgress acted beautifully and I need a new series with them already. Showing a gradual development in their relationship, the fears and misunderstandings, and how hard it is when you're going down different paths and don't want to leave each other was shown outstandingly. They acted beautifully.
KenPaul was such a cute side couple and I loved their bickering and worrying for each other, showing even more development, misunderstandings, and how to deal with being apart. I need another series with them!
JustinKeaton was also a cute side couple, I just wish there was more of their relationship. I know there has been some scandals with Justin, but I don't think that should effect the show or story. I'm not sure if they cut some scenes due to this or if this was the actual script, but either way I wish Keaton had more screen time, I loved their note passing to confessing trope.
Sorry this was long but it was so good 😭 You don't need NC scenes or a lot fo kissing to make such a good story and they showed that here! And the colors were so nice to look at, the nice warm colors, orangy-green feel representing oranges throughout the whole thing 🧡
Wait this was actually so cute 😭 First time I'm saying we need it to be longer but not because of plot issues or characters, but because I actually loved it so much I wish it was longer!!! The story in the second half fell off a little bit but I still really liked it
Nothing has truly unfoldedWhat a waste of potential. This drama had all the ingredients for an interesting thriller…
I totally agree, I feel like we got no explanation for any of it and I'm so curious about the librarians role in all this. I do like the suddeness of the three being shot though, it was a great surprise.
I also agree with the messy pacing and character introductions, I felt like when I finally thought I was starting to catch on they switched to the other couple and confused me even more. And yeah the credits being that long made me upset, a 20 minute episode turning into a 15 minute one basically. I feel like I would watch a possible other season just for the fact I hope we get more explanations to everything
I was so excited for this but now I'm just disappointed. I was honestly so confused throughout this whole show, I feel like it went too fast and there was no explanation for anything. This would have been better if it was longer, went more into the characters, and the plot was made better. It's such a cool concept that went to waste :(
The ending took me by surprise though, that was a nice twist. I'm not saying all of it was horrible, there were some good moments and interesting story points, but overall this could have been made better especially with how dark the concept was.
EP 9 holy shit... pieces of trash. That poor kid in the hot tub didn't deserve that, Sunny and his backer are absolute pieces of shit. Sunny first pointing out Suns brother to get killed and now willingly taking people to get hurt, SAd, and even killed, and even just killing someone himself. I hope he gets what he deserves. Also, I hope Sun and Sky are ok at the end (I didn't read the manhwa so idk anything) and I hope Two-O will be saved that poor kid! Jay gotta come back and go absolute batshit on these people. I assume from the preview to next EP that Sun obviously is ok injury wise, I hope Sky is good too! And poor Two-O, I hope he gets saved before that bastard does anything.
On the other, more lighthearted hand, I'm absolutely loving Sun and Jays relationship they're amazing together. Also the friendship between Sun and Sky is beautiful, Sun always checking up on Sky to make sure he's alright (although it was kinda stupid on his part to assume he was safe to go home with the crew). Also, their relationship with Kajorn is so cute! And badass uncle coming in clutch! I can't wait a whole week for this last EP (I wish it wouldn't be the last I don't want it to end!)
This was amazing, the acting, plot, just everything. I love the complex relationship between them both, the son of an accused murderer and the son of the murdered, one trying to live his life with the burden of his family and the other absolutely despising him for what happened, turning into a genuine love. That and I love trying to figure out the investigation along with them, trying to figure out who the son was. Honestly I'm proud of myself cuz I always thought Song was a little off so I suspected him I'm glad I was right lmao. Amazing series!
Also I really wish they showed the nesting more, it looked like Nakhun was the one who nested instead of Phatsa. I would have loved to see Phatsa start to take clothing, start nesting by instinct and wonder what he just did. I also think the pregnancy is going way too fast.
