Every time I rewatch this drama I’m reminded of how much I hate Xiuming. One of the only 2MLs that can truly compare to Situ Ling with how awful and obsessive he is.

No. He got sick right around the time for dubbing so it’s someone else. They sound similar though.

The ending isn’t sad, it’s just a really abrupt happy one.

Now I understand why Hou Minghao loves Xiao Wuyi so much. Everyone involved did an amazing job on this drama. I loved every second of it ❤️

Ok but can we talk about the cloaked/hooded man at the beginning of ep 24 saying that Xiao Wuyi could be saved but it would be at the cost of other peoples’ lives? Like what does that even mean?! I’m SCARED for these last few episodes 😭

Li Mao is the most consistently inconsistent character I think I’ve ever seen in a drama like he confuses me so much. I need him GONE 😤

I didn’t think I could love a Hou Minghao character more than Ji Bozai but he might have been overtaken by Xiao Wuyi for me over the last few episodes. He’s doing an INCREDIBLE job in this drama.

he’s given me bad vibes for most of the drama like i felt bad for how hard of a life he’s had but that explosive temper he kept showing threw way too many red flags to trust him.

also its f*ck the dad, the grandpa AND jiang yan for me

the way that xixiao kept saying “it’s ok” to wanwan to try and comfort her before the attack and after. that was so hard to watch 😭

xixiao: “zhou wan!”
the subtitles: “where are ya?!”
I can’t take these subtitles seriously sometimes like who translates this ya’ll know that’s not what he said 😭

it’s not as slow paced as dazzling, don’t worry.

they’re not. her mom and his dad are dating but they don’t get married.

there’s definitely like puppy sounds or something. idk if I like it, it kind of takes me out of the moment 😂
