I'm on episode 7. But I still didn't understand why only robin and son gyeong un get powers after falling that…
Because the mutation is random. There is no guarantee what you will get. Even the child of eternity was a product made by chance, which is why he's obsessed with creating another child of eternity by spraying the entire city to increase his chance

Review We Are All Trying Here Spoiler
I agree that they could've extended the drama and resolve every conflict more thoroughly. This drama would do exceptional with a 16 episodes for sure. But for a 12 episodes drama, I think it wrapped up in the best possible way. Instead of rushing every resolution, showing every single satisfying closure scene, which will make it feel even more forced and rushed, they hinted the direction of the ending.

It has always been clear that Eun A will be successful. Everyone already acknowledges her talent, even the condescending mother admitted she's doing well. She also got writing contracts with Choi that pays 100 Million per script. That's a lot. And Choi's recognition of her works mean a lot, since her only previous issue for her career was that she was treated badly and being undermined by her boss. We might not see her movies coming out or her winning awards, but we all know she'll make it. Her issues in the drama had never been about her career. It has always been about her trauma and pain that manifests in her nosebleeds. By the end of the drama, she learned to name her emotions and contain them. She learned not to let her mothers' words "kill" her. She previously described her "unknown" emotion as self-destructive, while Dong-man described it as crying for help. But she learned to help herself, hence her not having nosebleeds anymore. I think that's her main resolution.

As with her mother, it's clear that the mother has major narcissistic personality disorder tendencies. And if you've ever known people with NPD, you'd know that they would never change. They can't and they won't. Admitting her mistakes or apologizing or feeling bad is never in their dictionary. As Eun-A once said to Oh Jeong Hui, Oh Jeong Hui sees everybody as beneath her. She looks at everyone with contempt. But in the end, she acknowledged that Eun-A is impressive and told herself, "It's a good thing I didn't raise you. You turned out well." That's her version of "admitting" that she was a terrible mother. Honestly, that's practically the best you could ever get from a narcissistic parent, framing the guilt as "it's better this way anyways" cause they could never admit that they did wrong. And of course her ego would never let her admit it in front of Eun-A.

So if you ask what about the relationship with her mother, we can safely assume they would never reconcile. As of her relationship with Mi-ran, I think the hug is meant to show a quiet understanding and acceptance. After all, Mi-ran knows how Oh Jeong Hui actually is behind her public charismatic persona. She also knows about Oh Jeong Hui's daughter story from social media, and also knows Eun-A's story and relationship with her biological mother. I personally think it's beautiful that they've now got each other.

And Dong-man's relationship with Eun-A is never meant to be a whirlwind romance. Their relationship is simply stable and emotionally safe and intimate. You're supposed to feel their love from their conversations. Their compatibility is the fact that Dong-man, an explosive, talkative guy (which is a result of his anxiety), becomes calmer and accepted around Eun-A. While Eun-A's life that always seems bleak, becomes comedic when she's around Dong-man. And ofc Dong-man and Gyeong-se has a lot of chemistry, since their conflict is one of the main thesis of the drama since the very first episode. About how they used to be best friend but starting to hate each other, because Gyeong-se used Dong-man's story for his debut and felt insecure about that. While Dong-man, being a "litmus paper", started hating Gyeong-se cause he hated him first. The reveal by the end of the story is that Dong-man also used Gyeong-se for his story. They've been using each other all these times after all.

This drama isn't a romance genre. It's a psychological and slice of life melodrama. Life doesn't usually have clean and perfect closures for every conflicts. Most malicious people aren't punished. Most life events aren't fireworks. So I think overall the drama does really well for its genre.
