i'm loving the concept and the transitions....the idea of the new body same old mind is fresh (imo others may have seen similar plotlines)....so really enjoying it so far and the child actor is really good too....got the bratty child-half man tone really right.....it is all good....but one thing no transition-character drama ever gets right is the issue of the pants!!! why is it that the shirts tear and all but the pants stay intact!!!! only twilight sort of got it right with jacob's character carrying pants tied to his legs.....but otherwise all other dramas i've seen conveniently brush over the pants issue....hahahahha....just saying...it is hilarious that they do that....

must say that just for the visual appeal, MR should be rated 9....purely visual appeal.....everything is stunning.....awesome cgi, very very good production values, best casting....i'll binge-watch this again later just to enjoy the visuals in one sitting...or may be a few sittings ;-)

man oh man oh man.....did you see xu kai eye-acting in episode 12!!!! off the freaking chart....in the conversation between them by the riverside.....love love love a man who can let a woman go with 'come back home'......wwwoooooaaaahhhhh sooooooper hot!!! zhu yu, you the man....

slightly better than the 15 minute dramas :-) but yes, FZX please do some proper dramas and let us see your full range....

sorry, i thought that production companies demand this....or maybe it is society....i guess i have no idea why.....either way,....i wish it was not like that...that's all....no offence intended :-)

i have to say.....how could the fl, despite being a mind-blowing warrior who single-handedly defeated a brutal barbarian enemy general, starts crying in the middle of the battlefield because she thought her secret crush general was killed!!!! I mean, come on!!!! for me that was the lowest point of this drama....felt very very let down....

i hope it is a long and satisfying beating.....he soo deserves it,,,,

oh yeaa!!! totally, even in the series where he is supposed to be introverted...like in the one with ....what was it called....with the marriage....she and her perfect husband....loved him in that...actually, in all of hem :-D

i feel it is not explicitly important but in the feeling....personally, i am able to feel closer to the characters when they appear natural and not smoothed out completely....it feels nicer at a subliminal level....

i am praying that they haven't super-frozen her face....why do production people do this to actors? it ruins the character....just thinking out loud....it may not be the case here....so please don't take this as hate :-) just wishful thinking....

i agree with you that it is hard to just let go without being able to assign some reason to it....but most people do it themselves, try to rationalise...my discomfort is with demanding answers from the other person....because it is hard for anyone to tell someone else that they do not like them.....there is no good way to say it....no matter what or how it is said, it hurts....so putting someone in a position where they are forced to be hurtful is not good for both sides....that's just my take....i do agree with your point though :-D....also he did say that he didn't see her as a woman...he said they don't suit each other which is a gentler way of saying their personalities don't match....besides all these are subjective, right....there is no way to rationalize or justify feelings....sigh!! of all situations in life, this has got to be the worst, right? :-))

but she was also so pushy!!! this is the thing i don't get in dramas and i am not sure if they are a reflection of the dating culture in se asia but demanding a reason for someone not accepting feelings or stubbornly pursuing someone despite repeated rejection.....that is totally out of my understanding....

because the rejecter is male ;-)

love love love the background score.....in some of the scenes, the whole magic is due to the background score....of course, the story is also getting played out really well without cringe moments with respect to the scariness.....so far, wonderful.....

after watching fall in you and this one; only legend of the female general feels a little fresh :-( is it just me?? maybe i've watched too many drama!!! :-D everything feels like everything else and not just in chinese.....also in korean, thai.... maybe i need to watch japanese dramas for while...haven't watched those in a long time... any good j-dramas playing?

isn't the spirit fire similar to the special blood plotline from ever night?? same specialness, being tormented by it and for it etc etc...
