she doesn't think that they are alive....she knows they are dead but she is unable to accept it and she knows that there are many villains outside who caused their death against whom she has to take revenge....so in order to confuse them and the rest of the outside world who don't know what happened....she's always telling these convincing lies....her lies make the empress think she has lost her mind because the empress is the one who got them killed.....and it reassures the general people who believe her lies.... about the marriage, for her it is a couple of things (a) a refuge, safe place because she also likes prince ding, he's her first crush from when he rescued her when she was younger (b) a way to fulfill her promise to her husband's brother (when he was about to be killed) that she would make him happy and protect him .... hoe this helps...

you remember the scene in the first episode where arrows were being shot into the student's rooms while they were studying.....the empress posted gaurds arounf lishan to prevent the world from coming to know that she had massacred the school....i think it happened while lishan was trying to bring her mother back to lishan.....so she lost her mother on the journey and when she returned she found everyone dead there....i think it was a coincidence that the mountain was cordoned off after ye li went up...so she couldn't leave either.....i think that scene where the students were trying to prevent her from leaving was also her imagination....so much left to be revealed...can't wait....😶😶😶😶😶

i don't thin he will be successful....but i feel like ye li will distance herself from mxy using that ecure bcos now she has cured him and made him happy and given him a job and purpose, ...he is checked off in her to-do list...now she is going to start on the revenge and in order to not implicate him, she may distance herself from him......no way some pathetic dude is going to determine the actions of our girl....she's too strong for that...

I'm really enjoying this drama more that I expected!! I like the characters and so far I like the plot.I hope…
although it is a super cliched drama....i like the leads and the grandma.....plus it is a non-stress watch because one can almost predict episode to episode what's going to happen 😆😆
