I do have some questions, though, RE: Peem / being a shaman.1) So while he was a full-fledged shaman, he was supposed…
don't know about shamanism but in some 'isms', for practitioners e.g. shamans, priests, etc....there are periods of time which are prescribed for sexual activities but then these are prescriptions for sex for the purpose of procreation, not recreation ;-) since technically in homosexuality, this element is completely void, dunno how it applies there ;-)....it is a very gray area hence open to interpretation, i guess....but if you keep the homosexuality aspect aside, there are some rules about when and how, the practitioners of "divine arts" can engage in sexual activities... this is my two-penny worth....no offence intended towards anyone or community :-)
Think itās funny after watching episode 11 that it never occurred to them to ask what time he was born at? š
honestly though....i don't know what 'time' i was born....not sure how many people do....most people just know the day because it is such a popular thing...just saying....
maybe it is just the international viewers misunderstanding....but anyway....the name of the master is pharan and he tells khem to call his "phi" as in older male significant other (or brother)....not 'peem'....maybe it was because of the error in the subtitles.... sorry...it was like an itch that had to be scratched.....not at all a big deal.... :-)
Started over againā¦itās so good canāt wait for the final episodeā¦saw that it was going to be extra longā¦true?!…
mee too....i have already watched each episode so many times .... from even the first one, while waiting for the next episode....like word of honour and uncontrollably fond this one is going to go through many watchings....whenever there is nothing else to watch
Gong Jun isn't that great of an actor, actually. Great actors could portray serious characters without coming…
beg to differ.....gong jun plays this character perfectly....his dialogue about needing beliefs to carry on in a gory profession is the crux....and to be steadfast on principles require that "boring" calmness.....can never get enough of gong jun....even in the legend of anle...one needs to watch the entire drama to really see the full scope pf the characters he plays.....personally, believe that he is the master of really balancing the compete development of the character in the role...
i'm loving the concept and the transitions....the idea of the new body same old mind is fresh (imo others may have seen similar plotlines)....so really enjoying it so far and the child actor is really good too....got the bratty child-half man tone really right.....it is all good....but one thing no transition-character drama ever gets right is the issue of the pants!!! why is it that the shirts tear and all but the pants stay intact!!!! only twilight sort of got it right with jacob's character carrying pants tied to his legs.....but otherwise all other dramas i've seen conveniently brush over the pants issue....hahahahha....just saying...it is hilarious that they do that....
must say that just for the visual appeal, MR should be rated 9....purely visual appeal.....everything is stunning.....awesome cgi, very very good production values, best casting....i'll binge-watch this again later just to enjoy the visuals in one sitting...or may be a few sittings ;-)
man oh man oh man.....did you see xu kai eye-acting in episode 12!!!! off the freaking chart....in the conversation between them by the riverside.....love love love a man who can let a woman go with 'come back home'......wwwoooooaaaahhhhh sooooooper hot!!! zhu yu, you the man....
sorry, i thought that production companies demand this....or maybe it is society....i guess i have no idea why.....either way,....i wish it was not like that...that's all....no offence intended :-)
i have to say.....how could the fl, despite being a mind-blowing warrior who single-handedly defeated a brutal barbarian enemy general, starts crying in the middle of the battlefield because she thought her secret crush general was killed!!!! I mean, comeĀ on!!!! for me that was the lowest point of this drama....felt very very let down....
sorry...it was like an itch that had to be scratched.....not at all a big deal.... :-)
