I love this series but since they started the new timeline the story feels off. Hope it gets better again. Episode…
I agree it’s ep.8 that threw me off. I’m a bit confused. Ep. 6 feels like the culmination of everything that’s been building up so far and I really like it at least I can see the story progress in a promising direction and I’m glad ep. 7 was good so 😂 I’ll be patient and have hope. If not I can always rewatch just the episodes I like.
I guess BJ’s red flag is the secret business he’s handling, but I wonder where the plot is heading. I hope it has some direction because, as of now, I still don’t know what the point of this series is. 😅 finger crossing that I don’t have to drop it before it complete. I have to commend Tee and Heng (even though I was not a fan of his crying but it’s just me, beside that he is great as Little Jane) because they did such a great job so far portraying their characters. If not this series would have been hard to watch. I actually really like the premise. It has so much potential, but the plot could be better.
Eh, extremely dissatisfying, just as I feared. They really didn't do the novel justice. Maybe the series could…
I agree that it has a rushed and convenient ending. There’s still so much more that could be fleshed out, but I kind of expected it to head this way because I don’t think the manhwa has finished yet. So I didn’t have high expectations for how the series would end.

Ep 8 - the scene where Phob reveals to his mother that he's part of the group that staged the coup:His dialogue…
I was a bit disappointed that the writer chose miscommunication for that scene. I guess they wanted to add some angst, but the outcome wouldn’t have changed even if Phob had told his side of the story and explained what he truly thought and felt. Tin would still have been heartbroken, and things between them still wouldn’t have been the same. And yes, I was annoyed as well. Like, does Tin really think the revolutionary group succeeded solely because of him? :))
They're purposely dressing him that way to match Little Jane's description from the novel, he's not supposed to…
Yup I can see that they purposely done that and I love it, it's just right. even though, I think for his first day of the job, they could have done a little better. :))
I’ve never taken any BLs I’ve watched seriously, but this series made me. I love how it intertwines romance with more serious, thought-provoking social issues. I especially love that it doesn’t focus solely on romance. I actually think power and personal interests will always play a role among those in higher positions, no matter what kind of system it is. It was heartbreaking to see Phob put in such a difficult position, especially when things completely got out of hand. Now he has to deal with the aftermath of his choice, but I totally understand his position. And yes, even if he could turn back time, I believe he would still choose the same path. He loves Tin, but Tin may never fully understand his decision because the two of them were born into different social classes. I also felt bad for Tin because such a drastic change definitely affects him and his family, but like Phob said, one day the system will eventually change, one way or another. I can’t wait to see what’s coming next.
