A LONG AND EPIC MOVING ART.

Okay, this is a long one and a masterpiece. This is the first time I watched a movie with over 3+ hour runtime. It's basically a 4-hour movie (3hrs and 50mins to be exact). At first, I hesitated because I am not fond of watching a film that too long. But I promise, It's worth your time.

This is a story of 4 different people that struggles in their depressing town each experiencing a depressing life. Each has story of its own. A boy has an abusive father and had a problem in their school after having an accident caused by him. A girl who has a negligent mother and having an affair to the vice dean of their school. An old man with nowhere to go after forcing him to leave out at his apartment by her family for financial reasons. And a middle age man, who has a family issue and having an affair to his best friend's wife.

I like every seconds of this movie especially to have a style of long and floating shots. Its very quiet, not too much dialogue but the emotions of the main leads deliver the story so perfectly. They all have very sad faces and as you look in their eyes, it's like they are telling us that there has no meaning in "living". The cinematography is also soothing, every shot is worth it.

I really love this movie and maybe my favorite movie recently. Even the story is depressing, I see hope in the ending.

THE MOVIE THAT BROKE ME ONCE.

It's not your typical love story wherein it will give you butterflies, feel love or in love. This movie did not hesitate to touch a sensitive topic about toxicity in a relationship. How an immature relationship destructive can be. It's extremely sad watching their own lives crumbling down. It's like you want to do something about it. I cried a lot especially in the "bike scene" and the ending. Man, the ending was also special! The fact it is so good. I rewatched it the next day because I want to see the both of them.

Wonderfully told. Beautiful story that can make you cry for many reasons.

This is a very beautiful film! No wonder it was nominated in Oscars for Best International Film. I think it also deserves to win it all. Made me cry from the start up to end. I cried because it's sad, I also cried because of anger. I cried because of the destructive events in this movie and I cried the most in the end because of happiness and fulfillment.

This movie told a wonderful story about bullying and seeing hope despite what's happening to you. The performance of the two main leads is a masterpiece. I can see the hardships in their eyes very clearly as if they are the true persons behind the story they are telling to us. The love they had is very pure and seeing their lonely eyes makes me cry.

The theme of this movie was on point and perfectly blends to the cinematography to deliver the right feelings to the viewers.

Everything in this film is just beautiful, might be heartbreaking but the resolution of the movie will give you relief. This is a must watch movie especially to those who experienced and seen any types of bullying. After watching this, now it's one of my favorite movie of all time!

Strong theme. Mid-drama. Still recommended.

There is nothing special about this movie but still it's strong enough to deliver its theme. Majority of the actors here are surprisingly good considering all of them are non professionals except to Ms. Meryll Soriano. And kudos to her, she delivers an extraordinary performance being the mother of John Denver. I like the scoring, acting, and also the story. It highly pinpoints the true dangers of internet and toxicity of social media especially spreading fake news. I like the movie the way it only focuses about the issue of John Denver's trending video and on what actions should the authority to do about it. You can feel the events happening in the movie. The emotions, the anger and desperation. I just don't like the fact that this story has no resolution about the problem. It was stuck there, desperately accusing John Denver about the stolen iPad and him telling people he did not do the stealing. Overall, the movie is still good and recommended. By the way the ending is very sad.
