I read somewhere that yang yang and tencent had a dispute and they don;t get along. Guess that was not true
they didn't have a direct feud, but I believe this is about the last drama he had with them - who rules the world had a lot of controversy, with the director and producer fighting because he cheated on her, the final product being awful because of that, the drama being accused of plagiarism and animal cruelty with the horses, etc ((and I still believe he only accepted this drama because he was obligated by contract lol
people have this notion that yy does a lot of romances but its not really true lol 4 out of his 8 dramas since love o2o didn't have romance as the main focus, 5 if you count martial universe, 6 if you count with you. also 2 movies. he is more found of career-focused dramas (you can see that his characters in you are my glory and fireworks of my heart are also very career-oriented
