one bts made me watch it, one episode is making me want to drop it 😅
zhou yiran just doesn't sell as a powerful warrior and, after spending the last weeks watching zhan zhao adventures, the fight scenes are rather weak - that classic too much posing and not much fight, as most dramas are the past few years.
the last time I properly watched chen duling was in the left ear. I'm glad to see she improved, she is not that weak presence anymore. still, she feels kinda lost in some scenes. however, it seems to be a directing issue, as other actors also present this issue.
I hate this vertical drama storytelling so much 😠I hate the music screaming at me to feel certain emotion, I hate the dramatic close ups, I hate how fake and forced everything feels. this trend of "scenes to go viral" needs to go, omg, its ruining so many dramas. please give me a proper presentation of the characters and story, lay down the plot, don't just give me impactful images to make tiktok edits ðŸ˜
