the romance never was a focus and they don't want you to ship, so there is no need to further skinshipthe continuity…
its the second person this week to try to call me some sort of mole because of my observations 🫠 I watch and read interviews. I observe and guess. there is no need to take me seriously either lol I mean, they made it very clear from the beginning that there would be almost no romance, with the ml always promoted separately from the fl. so it is easy to guess they will cut her and their romance to the max without affecting the storytelling. but ofc, we need to wait and see.
Watching RMJTI's Donghua for a long time and I've been waiting for this Live Action well aware they would not…
they can't put everything in the drama. 200 eps to 30, ofc they gonna cut a lot. they also said they would add emotional depth, so changes should be expected. still, the story makes sense. being from a small village, ofc han li is naive - not sunny - in the beginning. in the first arc, you can see his intelligence in the way he learned to fight, to cultivate herbs and produce poison almost all by himself. in the test for the sect, by how he soon notices the evil intentions of those cultivators. in the sect, him becoming more and more inconspicuous as he has to deal with enemies inside his own sect. this is a good way to show how han li becomes the fox you all brag about. I have other criticisms, but I'm still not too sure about them, I will wait for more episodes
btw, mo was creepy and cynic af, idk what you mean with "candid"
I'm on ep. 8. They simply chopped everything. Destroyed the original story and Han Li growth and character depth,…
I haven't watched the original nor read the book, but han li growth here is progressive and also have depth. I don't see issue with these. also, isn't the original story harem?
It's just a matter of detail. Small screen and lower resolution has less detal, so it "blends" together…
I thought of this logic but its quite the opposite - the better quality, the cgi looks better '-' weird, isn't it? what if I tell you the flying isn't greenscreen? 😂 its actually similar to that used in superman https://x.com/yangyangbr/status/1949990349180477904 my guess is they don't quite know how to deal with this technology thus why it looked so fake
I’m really enjoying the show but, let’s be fair, CGI isn’t the best here. Maybe they did it on purpose but…
true. some look better than others. specially the ones in day light, they doesn't have a good integration with the real life scenario. but here is the thing - even these, they look way better in some devices and video quality. I'm wondering, the first reviews of people that watched it on imax praised the cgi a lot, so I'm wondering if they took too much time thinking of higher resolutions and it hurt somehow the outcome for lower quality videos and devices.
chinese dramas usually are dubbed. you get used to it.
oh I don't mean it as offence, its not weird for people to get confused about it. I checked youtube and netflix, I can't hear any echo. could it be your device or the quality where you are watching?

the more expensive the drama, the better the dubbing. older dramas used to be worse too. from your watch list, I can't find one that wasn't dubbed haha

the continuity error is so real lol there are so many, from the very beginning
