After watching ep 11, all i want is to reach 15th July: ep 22_Earthquake scene and to see love birds asap lol…
If I'm being honest, I am more curious and excited about the POSSIBILITY of our naive and love-struck male lead to finally wake up from his deep sleep, and give the SFL a chance, at least a chance man, how hard can it be, really?
Enough is enough, and if this has 40 episodes, it's only right, otherwise, we are going in circles, and it's a waste of everyone's time.
FL actually strike a jackpot in ep 11. It's never easy to get a second chance in life but she still hesitated…
The sad part is, she still hesitated/rejected him, even though, she has her own "reasons", but I call that bullshit.
But what's even saddest, is the fact that our naive and love-struck ML will receive her with open arms in a couple of episodes, almost as if nothing has ever happened between them…
Now, that's what's fucked up and wrong about this entire drama.
He has no self-respect, because remember, it's not just about HIM, but it's also about his FAMILY, and how her family treats them.
FL keeps choosing her family over the ML, and at one point (or multiple), she even tried to "move on", fair enough. How come our ML hasn't done that yet? At least let us watch him try for a couple of episodes.
We, the fans, need an SFL who will fight with her teeth and nails for our ML - it's only right! Someone who understands him, supports him, someone, who, essentially, revives him from death, that's what the show needs.
But guess what? None of that will happen, I'm afraid. I am only watching this drama for YY and WCR, because the plot/story is below average, at best.
Xu Qin is pretty weak, pathetic, and, most importantly, clueless!
Song Yan, time to let Xu Qin go, my man, just go out with that cutie pie (her friend, that's some nice karma), and enjoy life, you deserve it!
I'm so disappointed Chu Ran's playing a character so weak and almost unbearable to watch... This could've easily been one of the best C-Dramas, but no, they had to mess it up.
P.S. That final scene on episode 10, omg, THE TALENT of those two amazing actors, bravo!
Nope, that's it from me... The writers did him dirty, like, this dude (ML), has to be the dumbest, most naive, and stupid person in C-Drama's history lol
Why do I feel that even the writers themselves are lost while writing this drama?
No, but really... Why do Chinese writers ALWAYS come up with the "they knew each other back when they were kids" and then some tragic shit happened, and they meet again after a decade or so. I mean, really?
Not only that, you manage to write an unrealistic character like Song Yan, who, despite everything, still loves her to death. Does that make sense to you? You have 40 episodes, why are you rushing to put them together? It's so frustrating man...
It's sad as I was excited to watch Chu Ran as an FL, especially w/ Yang Yang, but this lousy writing...
That garbage ex-boss and ML's brother... OMG, they have to be the worst characters in C-Drama's history!! Disgusting, I skip almost every time they show up on the screen...
I agree with peach.. should be in Q3 or Q4 of 2024 or 2025. They’re just starting the filming
That's impossible, it won't take that long though. First, it won't be 46 episodes again, and second, they have already "wasted" many years to bring Season 2 to life (script, preparations, etc). Right now it's just filming and then post-production.
P.S. ML has only signed until 2025 for 3 seasons, therefore, if they want to stick with the schedule, they have to release Season 2 early next year and then start filming the last season as fast as possible, that's the only way.
Hey, episode 8 was such a waste of precious time, both personally and the story itself, I mean, why???
At this point, I am only interested and captivated by the ML & the evil princess, even though they won't have that many interactions because writers be writers, what a shame...
P.S. I have nothing against Ren Min, but she isn't prepared to take on such a big project like this, although, in my eyes, it has already failed. Chu Ran should've been the FL, but with the same background story, that would have been so much more interesting to me.
Someone who DOESN'T hurt him? Or like humiliates him? That would be like the bare minimum, I guess.

However, she was the one who gave her friend his number? Not only that, but she invited him for a meal just to "dump" him yet again?
Brother, double standards? She can't have it all, and eventually she will understand that.

CFY would play some handsome and badass bandit and the potential of CP w/ Chu Ran... That's a HIT, people! Wake up.
I can see Chu Ran (in the future) at the level of Bai Lu, Zhao Lusi, etc...
Fingers crossed :)
P.S. She should've been the FL in The Longest Promise w/ Xiao Zhan, but oh well, it is what it is.

If so, I don't mind waiting until 2024 - I am ready!
This drama is poorly written man, they are wasting Angela's talent once again… It's criminal!!
Also, is this the first "real" and big project for Chu Ran as FL?
