Male lead HAS to be CFY, there's really no other option, not to mention Youku had one of their best dramas, definitely in 2022 with him as the ML, so that would be stupid, unless he 's not interested in the story
Well, I guess it was kind of obvious this wouldn't be an "ending", given there weren't enough episodes or time to develop the entire story/plot, but still...
I would love it if they had announced/filmed part 2, but I don't think that's the case, which is a damn shame, in my opinion, this is going to be one of those C-Dramas that 1) don't even receive a part 2 or 2) takes 2 to 3 years to develop
The story is all over the place man... ML is such a loser/weird guy as of right now, FL's boss is a guy with mental problems, now there's the other dude, I mean... Really?
To top it off, in each episode, we go into a "fantasy" world (inside ML's script) and it's annoying. This would have been much more interesting had it been just your typical ML (a star writer) who seeks counsel or hires the FL to help him with whatever script he needs to complete a drama.
I'm only here for Angela, though, she's amazing, and it's about time she is recognized for her talent, and consequently gets better projects in the future.

Most likely! And season 2 / part 2 might come out as a 40 episode + higher budget. But we will see, I have no idea if this drama is doing well in China, does anyone know?

And Qin Chen is annoying me now, the dude can beat everyone yet he is still trying to hide his strength, why? It's not like we have unlimited time and episodes, jesus christ, horrible structure and writing...
