I started watching for them, the only scenes I'm not skipping (or skimming through) aside from theirs are the crown prince's antics which are pretty funny lol. sadly there's very few scenes with this second couple and some of them were deleted due to censorship I think...

that said, what we get is worth the watch. they both have incredible chemistry and Fan Shuai Qi looks awesome as Bu Shu Lin 🥰

a few months ago someone told me I sounded like the main character in this drama so I'm finally watching it.

dunno why I put it off for so long, it's so much fun haha

paid for the YT membership just to watch this lol. but it was so worth it! I loved it!

it's very pretty, pretty gay (between the lines like always but if you're here you must be used to it by now lol) + the soundtrack it great too. if you can, go watch this via official channels (u can rent it on WeTV or pay for the YT membership, YT membership is cheaper where I live so that's what I did)

3h writing my review and I'm almost finished now lol. I think it will be a while until I find the next cdrama that makes me write a full review (not something that I usually do, this will be my first).

I think the Lin'an arc was just right, but agree that the military arc could use some more action and the last arc needed more time for the plot to be properly explored. I wouldn't mind a few more episodes 🤭

I love how I loved all the characters in this. Usually there are one or two or more smaller characters who I do not care at all about, but in PoJ I loved even the smallest ones like the Xie generals (not getting paid enough) and Changyu's boy crew (who made me laugh and cry).

I love Bai Lu but hate ZLH's character in SOKP so I'm having a hard time finishing it. I think I have around 2 episodes left, but what I liked the most about it was the initial friendship between the FL and Yan Lin, her and her sister, and her with the princess (wish it were more gay lol). But the men in this one are very 🥱 for me, and the camera work made me laugh a few times, hard to watch not gonna lie haha. I'll finish it for Bai Lu ❤️

I've watched Blossom, liked it a lot. I'll make sure to follow his future works, I think he keeps improving 🙏

finishing it tonight, this will probably be my favorite this year!! if anyone has other cdramas that are a feast for the eyes like this one (with VERY PRETTY scenes), please recommend!! also accepting recommendations for other cdramas with fun/strong FLs and heavy focus on the FL :)

ok, I just couldn't finish it today because I don't want it to end. had a loooong pause between 38 and 39 to write some thoughts. I'll finish it tomorrow, glad to have one more day of zhuyu lol

yes!!! I rewatched some episodes on my computer and it's just not the same. it works best on a larger screen :)

I've been watching this drama on my 100+ inch projector and would recommend watching it on a big screen if you can. most of the scenes are truly deserving of a big screen.
