I'm watching cos it's Victoria. I watched ep 1 of the other and couldn't continue. FL was so whiny.

I love the grandma too. She's as cute as she was in "Meet Yourself".

You know what's really killing it? The BGM! All the songs chosen created all sorts of nostalgic feels for those of us who lived that era and grew up hearing them.

I made a mistake! I watched till ep 29 where the last scene was Mr A. When he turned around, it was Ah Bao? I thought that was the last episode! I realized I missed one episode only yesterday and watched it. If I'm not wrong, that scene in ep 29 was a figment of LiLi's imagination cos of what her manager said in the last episode. Would you know?

I finished watching the raw version. I love it. Ah Bao is such a sentimental man with so much love for his friends. But I don't understand the last scene and hope someone has the answer. I searched Douban and nobody seems to be talking about it, which is so strange.

Anyway, Douban's rating for this show is now 8.4.

I like this better too. So far, it has more depth.

I disagree on all were flop scripts. In my mind, only one or two. Maybe you just didn't like. And it's very normal for any actor or actress to not always pick scripts that are great in their career. I think the difference for JCW is despite your opinion, he is still very much wanted in the industry. I mean, just look at the number of scripts he's been offered. These are the only ones we know of. I'm sure there are others we don't know.

So happy for him that he's getting so many offers. Hope he has sufficient time to rest up too.

Just dropping by to say Shin Hye Sun looked so pretty in an earlier episode when she had bangs. I've never seen her with that hairstyle.

I believe the ratings would have increased this much earlier had it not been for all the festive holidays and football match in the past weeks.

Totally agree about Nazha. I dropped every single show of hers even when I like the ML. Something about her that drags down the script.

No. I've watched till ep 26 and it's not a romance plot but the ML is in close business relationships with 3 women. 2 of the ladies have more than business aspirations about him but he seems to treat them like friends although it also seems he'll "die for them" because he values their friendship.

I was about to ask if filming has ended. 🤣

This is such a great show. The cast is top-notch and none of them I follow. I've watched Tiffany Tang in other dramas and is lukewarm about her acting but I have to concede she's doing a great job in this one. The other 2 female leads are awesome too. I love the storytelling and narrative. They make economics interesting. Haha. I didn't realized that Eng subs are not yet available and perhaps that's why the rating is low here. The emo scenes are brilliantly emo like the one where Miss Wang's ex-boss came to give her the stamp album. I can cry me a river cos of the choice of the BGM.

Right? It's OTT. It's definitely an exaggeration of the writer's. I liked this but now, the relationships are all getting draggy. I can't believe even the FL's mom is like that with her ex-husband. How is this group of people so messy? Incredulous and ridiculous!

I'm watching. The initial 2 episodes were a bit weak for me but by episode 3, it raised my interest and I'm enjoying it. It's also getting better and better by the episodes. This is the only Kdrama I'm vested in right now. I usually watch Cdramas.
