Lol. Why are people sending you messages over this. Just air them here. Honestly IDK what to think of Sun Qian. I really like her in the Love Story in the 1970s. She was a natural there. I can't comment on this drama yet cos I've only watched like 2 episodes...waiting for more to drop before continuing. But the test for me about acting is this...do they remind me of previous roles they've played especially if the genre or the character is very different. Unfortunately, very very few actors/actresses show up fresh in every role. And when I watched the 1st 2 episodes, I thought SQ here is the same as SQ in Love Story.

Zhou Ye is good at badass roles but when it comes to demure ones, she's not a natural. I think Zhuo Ruo Nan might be a better fit.

Mainland Chinese pronounce a lot of English words differently.

A lot of contemporary cdramas are crappy but those that are good, are very good. They have more depth and are much more memorable. Have you tried Meet Yourself? It's also on Netflix. It's outstanding and it's not the chaebol stuff.

Good thing the story is about farming strawberries. Imagine if it's carrots. 🤪

Haha...Blossom was very bland for me but I finished it mostly cos of the ML. I was gearing to watch Splendor cos I like both leads especially Ding Yuxi but after awhile, it became too intense for me. The reason I like Born with Luck more is cos of the genre. I like humorous shows especially dark humor or those with clever lines or with a twist. Light to the Night was good, it kept me intrigued and I remember I was eagerly waiting for new episodes.

I love this story, and I think many too and that's why it's so popular and it's got so many remakes. Since you already hate the story, then please do not watch this even if you're a fan of any of the leads.

A lot of people love Road to Splendor but it was not for me. Not that it's bad or anything but I couldn't with their crisis after crisis. Light to the Night was not bad but not on my top fave list. I actually like Born with Luck more but it wasn't popular.

Watched some of these. Only like POJ and The First Jasmine. Zhan Zhao okay not bad. Others not in the list but worth watching are Born to Be Alive, Mystic Nine, No Pain No Gain. The Key to the Phoenix Heart is better than a few listed here too although I wouldn't say it's at the top of my list.

They're in advertising so I wouldn't expect the standard corporate attires. But I noticed that in most of the Cdramas with office setting, many of the ladies in non-creative departments would come in a pair of short pants and that look odd to me. Maybe it's acceptable in China. IDK.

I hope his role can make us love and hate him at the same time.

I tried to continue but I can't too. I fast-forwarded many episodes to find reasons to continue but today, I moved it to 'dropped' too. I love both the ML and FL but just this one is not for me, and not that I go for fluffy dramas too. There are too many villains and politicking that I find it too oppressive to watch.

Can someone tell me if the FL and ML "suffered" a lot? I watched up to the point ML joined the army and saw the miscomm between FL and the main military wife. I didn't like it and stopped. Am wondering if such angsts are commonplace in this drama or just transient. I don't like dramas where the main leads suffer too much injustice.

Yes! Love William Chan and the original Mystic Nine is my favorite. Love it! ZLY was so cute with William there.

ZQS said he would be fine so he should have survived but it wasn't so clear what happened to him.
