I think that in ep. 1 when Xiaobo gave her the book "How Steel Was Tempered," to read, he had feelings for her. He challenged her to stop hiding her potential and to embrace it. I think that he knew that if he got into college and she remained as she was, they could never be together.

I think that Su was thrown under the bus because he involved his cousin. Eventual exposure would boomerang back to Triangle, The original mole probably alerted Triangle. I think that he will give the supplementary agreement to his cousin.
