Looks like it could be the best series this year

I feel like on MDL 7.2 generally translates to pretty bad. Low 8's is average. Mid 8 and above is good to really good.

Do you think this means it's likely to be a high quality show?

Haven't been excited by anything in the K or J drama world this year. This has the potential to break the pattern.

Looks really corny from the trailer. Reminds me of a CW show. But given the quality of the cast, hoping it'll actually be really good.

The final episode has some lazy writing/plot armor, but overall, this is was an insanely good season. 10/10.

Episodes 5 and 6 turn into Game of Thrones-level political intrigue. This season is insane.

On episode 3. So far this season is unhinged. I was worried it would be over-the-top but the quality hasn't dropped off at all. The tone has just shifted to extreme action. Excited to continue watching.

This seems like potentially the first good non-romance K-drama of 2025. Any others I should check out?

Great read on the series. They're considering doing a spin-off of other characters, but Keisuke and Daigo's characters end with this season.

Is this the full episode? If so the storytelling seems a little odd, like it's missing scenes.

Should also add I have nothing against Jisoo. She's my favorite personality in Blackpink.

Overall I'm intrigued. But putting Jisoo in everything is taking away a spot from a more deserving actress. Jisoo is already rich and famous. Another actress should get the chance to achieve the same. Jisoo doesn't have the acting skills to justify giving her every role possible.
