I honestly think this is Park Hae Young’s strongest writing so far, even compared to My Mister and My Liberation Notes. The dialogue, the way the characters are written, the plot twists, and especially the philosophical aspects of the story are all so well done. And the acting from the main leads, absolutely incredible. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Koo Kyo Hwan wins the Best Actor or Go Youn Jung wins Best Actress. They both gave such amazing performances. So far, this is one of the few dramas this year that actually feels like it has something meaningful to say. It’s such an underrated gem and I really hope it gets the nominations and awards it deserves because more people need to discover and appreciate this masterpiece.
