Cute and better developed than the original story
Came here expecting it to be like the movie (which I didn't like that much since the characters were way unmatured and had several plot holes), glad to say that this one is so much better.I enjoyed every part of the story, even the side ones are enjoyable and a good addition to the main plot. Can't say I found myself bored at any point while watching this, from beginning to end I was invested to know the characters and how their lives developed chapter by chapter.
Story: Well presented, main and side stories are tied together so smoothly to the point you don't know which one it's the core. The characters have an amazing story and growth while the narrative continues around them.
Acting: Phenomenal, although the age difference between ML and FL can become weird at some point in the story, it's understandable and well presented.
Music: Goes hand in hand with the story, amazing choice.
Rewatch Value: It's worth watching it a few more times.
Overall: A perfectly balanced drama with a fair amount of fantasy, romance, life, and friendship. Recommended for those who liked the movie, and for those who did not.

Like reading a book in 2 hours
I have no words to define how satisfactory this movie was to watch, I wasn't expecting much and it ended up surprising me for good.Everything is so well executed, from the script to the acting, even the tense music was somehow good enough. I could understand each one of the characters and how they felt at every moment of pressure, their reasoning, their breakdowns. It was like reading a good book in one evening cause it was too good to leave it for another time.
Story: From the beginning to the resolution everything it's perfectly calculated for the spectator never leaving the screen, you never know who's gonna change their mind next.
Acting: Amazing, each actor portraited such unique characters with so many different emotions and thoughts on the case.
Music: Probably the blandest part of the movie, but not for bad, it's just that there's barely any sound or relative music though the whole movie other than the typical tautness music.
Rewatch Value: Would watch it again on a free evening, especially with family or friends.
Overall: I recommend watching this movie if you like the conflict resolution and human emotions being shown.

Great main story, not so good side plot
Not gonna lie, the main reason I watched the show was for Kyung Soo and So Hee, however, it was a fun, charming, and gracious ride.I've watched a couple of dramas that had this historical plot somehow, but never one that was fully committed to it. I ended up enjoying it a lot, it was nice to see a representation of the old (but really old) days, even though I know it's impossible to get a 100% accurate portrayal of it.
Story: I enjoyed the main story and the first half of the side plot, but after a while, the second narrative going on became a little repetitive and confusing.
Acting: Amazing cast, all the emotions were portraited perfectly for each character.
Music: The mixture of old new sounds was a perfect addition to the show, it has a great OST.
Rewatch Value: I will watch it again, perhaps paying more attention this time to the second narrative than to the main story I may be able to understand why everything became so weird at some point.
Overall: Recommended for those who like classical stories dramas, but don't expect a lot of romance or fighting, it has both, but not in excess.

Fun for an evening
I liked it and probably will watch it again a few times with friends or family.Didn't blow my mind, but I especially cherished how they used the "kids now only think of using their phones" and turned it into something positive for the film.
It's not the kind of movie that portraits extreme violent/action moments, so if that's what you're looking for, better watch another movie.
Story: Was good, can get kind of boring by half the movie, but quickly recovers.
Acting: Probably the best part, they did a good job portraiting each character and their motives to do what they do.
Music: Didn't stick out, just finished it and can barely remember anything from it.
Rewatch Value: Probably for a few more times after never watching it again.
Overall: Give it a try if you like movies that go further than a few explosions and focus more on character development/story.
