While the show was funny as expected of ppl who’ve been in this business for years-all the actors and PD. The show was a major disservice to Kenya. Most of the show was about games- which appear a lot in Korean variety shows, this could’ve easily been shot in Korea and didn’t have much to do with Kenya. They could’ve shown/explored much more about the culture/country. Like with Korean comedy sometimes-somethings feel cringe when it comes to other cultures and countries. It however has many laughable moments. So yeah if you’re looking for a good laugh it’s for you, if you’re looking for a more travel style show, it isn’t.

I personally like it a lot, but it is definitely not a typical kdrama. From how the usual ratings and reviews go on MDL for most dramas, you can tell it’s also not a formula drama which caters to most audiences. The drama hasn’t finished yet, pretty much mid way. It’s a more mature and life in the grander scheme of things drama. I think people who’ve watched and like much older dramas are more likely to like it.

It was a fun watch. My only problem was that they showed the guy pursuing the SFL in a bad light while they justified the SFL doing the same if not more. It doesn’t matter which gender does it, what’s wrong is wrong. I can’t believe they gave such a positive spin to SFL’s shitty behaviour and I don’t get why no one calls her out for her behaviour all along the drama. Except that it’s a pretty fun watch

They never mentioned childhood crush, just that they were childhood friends. He could’ve liked her later or realised he likes her later. What’s wrong people can come love people. I’m not a huge fan of Seon-U, just a typical kdrama bestie character, nothing demonising about it. Also, Ha-Yeon fully knows what she is getting into and is her choice, as stated by the character at multiple points. Poor guy let him also find some love.
