Great film festival movie!
Watched as part of the Toronto Japanese Film Festival 2026 line up - opening film.
The storyline is predictable. But what makes this great storytelling is even if you know exactly how this will end, you will still laugh and cry when the characters laugh and cry. The cast list is super star-studded and everyone delivered.
If you're watching this in cinema, bring tissues.
