No romance. The characters are either trying to catch a ghost, possessed, or running around to find clues. HongS has a one sided thing for SY but it’s nothing more than that. SY barely look his way (not interested). 😅

I wish there was more of Semi too. KEH doesn’t bode well or explore female relationship-friendship in depth. 🫠

does it ever explained why the parents of the dead student in ep 1-2 hid their daughter? i'm a bit confused why.
It correlates to how the evil ghost was created - a second born child, malnourished, and kept away in dark spaces. Which is what the parents did. The parents also wanted to kill her. So it also illustrates how terrible humans are. Because at the end of Ep 2, it shows the flash back of the vengeful ghost being murdered/created through ritual created the same way.

When someone is in high emotional distress that’s what happens. Your heart rate goes up & you breathe heavily. KTR is doing a nice job portraying that aspect.

The whole blindness thing being "cured" by the ghost makes no sense to me. How can the evil spirit cure an illness?…
It’s more likely he wanted to study it & be some sort of acclaim folklorist & wealth.

The doctor that saw Prof Gu asked how was his vision, I’m assuming it was the ghost that possessed him that says it was fine. So he was losing his vision either way possessed or not. I feel like he wanted to get rid of the ghost because he couldn’t live like that anymore, just like HaeS dad. He’s been studying how to get rid of it because the only person who knew how to was HaeS grandma.

I think it’s more like the ghost has this gift for miracles to grant the host their desires, SY is persuaded to keep the ghost but I’m not sure how the ghost can make the illness disappear? 🤣 Because when she starts losing her sight, she sees something else (dark space or visions) or the ghost is possessing her.
