loved the games in this one, probably my favourite season. also has nice surprises and twists but the VIPs ruined it for me ngl like why do they talk like that it felt AI to me
Extremely disappointed. To save you from wasting your time (spoiler, i guess?...) they never actually sell any drugs whatsoever; it's just the issues that arise from their discovery of the marijuana. Nothing actually happens, it's just them running from place-to-place solving problems they can easily avoid.
ādonāt ruin their friendshipā as if itās a crime for two males to be involved romantically , homophobia…
āDonāt ruin their friendshipā can apply to a straight couple⦠if a simple comment like that can make you this angry you should go get checked. People love this show because itās refreshing to see a story where two men are able to show that they care for each other without people like you being weird and making it romantic. Thatās exactly why men in real life donāt show their true selves. Kinda crazy how you found every single way to twist that comment except the one way youāre supposed to see it: two people have a good friendship, please keep it platonic and not romantic. What does them being guys have anything to do with this? Lol
I am coming back here to comment about my immense disappointment in the fight scenes. What gave S1 a special place in my heart wasnāt just the amount of platonic love Sieun had for Su-ho, and the lengths he was willing to go to just to avenge him, which are usually only seen with romantic love. It was also because the fight scenes were so realistic. Si-eun is weak and canāt fight⦠but seeing how he would always find a way to win was so satisfying. The injuries were realistic, and the realism of those fights and the real consequences that occurred because of them was what stood out in the show. Si-eun almost bashed in Yeong-binās face in the first episode. But Yeong-bin didnāt just forget about it; it scarred him both physically, emotionally and mentally, and it was shown not only through the bandages he got but also with how he wanted revenge for that. But in S2⦠the fight scenes are abysmal. Si-eunās first encounter with Seong-je didnāt make a lot of sense to me, like why did they fight for 5 seconds and leave like nothing ever happened? Was the fight even necessary to begin with?⦠and then there was their second fight scene which angered me even more, because what do you mean the branch of a pair of glasses is enough to pierce someoneās foot? And how was Seong-je seemingly okay after that? Like he didnāt seem to be struggling much after Si-eun stabbed his foot, but then the next time we see him he has a cast?⦠and then there was Bakuās nonsensical fight scene in that dark alley, where, correct me if Iām wrong, got hit on the head TWICE at the speed of a motorcycle by a bat, and then just casually punched the guy on said motorcycle THROUGH HIS HELMET??? And again, Baku didnāt suffer anything from that, just a little bit of blood that they removed in the following scenes⦠and last and DEFINITELY least (smh) is when Si-eun repeatedly punched Baekjinās leg with BRASS KNUCKLES, and he was still somehow able to walk after that? And when Si-eun, again, repeatedly punched Baekjinās face with his brass knuckles, he didnāt get a SINGLE scratch. A SINGLE punch in the face with brass knuckles with all your strength, no matter how weak you are, should be enough to kill someone, if not, knock them out. But no, not in this show. Si-eun hitting Yeongbinās face with a book was enough to put him in a critical state in s1, but brass knuckles arenāt enough to even put a scratch on Baekjinās face⦠okay Netflix š The reason why itās so important to have realistic injuries is because if being punched in the face with brass knuckles isnāt enough to even hurt someone, then there are no stakes to the fight, let alone any tension. I felt nothing when watching s2 cause i knew that nothing actually bad would happen during the fight scenesšš and even the angles themselves were pretty bad. Wavve should have directed s2, not Netflix :(((
S1 was so much better⦠am I the only one who didnāt think much about most of the fight scenes OR the characters?⦠I hope there will be a s3 because I really like Si eun
Nozaki didnāt get caught because of the snow. She had told Aiba on the phone that she couldnāt go to Tokyo…
I think it's actually really admirable how you were able to figure out what nazoki meant by "when spring comes" because i had no idea lol. And i genuinely don't think that he would beat her, i just think that maybe he would lock her up or just be very possessive.
btw the ending is really dumb and horrible, like i kinda wouldve liked to see what aiba and nozaki's life wouldve looked like if they ended up living together. That was probably the only way to fix this movie lol
