the first four episodes of this drama were great and than the last episode imo made it worse, the ending was the piece of cherry on top of the cake for me because how are we going from whatever we were just on to this crap of the last scene.
just watched the preview for the next eps on wetv and I’m pleased to say Qian and LinAn are about to be a chaotic duo and I’m here for it <3!!!! can’t wait for next episodes (esp 12!)
one of my first Chinese dramas and think will be one of my top 5 for a long time, imo the story is realistic and it set my standards high for modern cdramas.
despite the ending, i think it portrayed such a beautiful meaning.
in my eyes it suggested that we only have so much time in our lives, and we don’t know when that moment of us will come. so rather than thinking about it why don’t we just live life to the fullest until our turn arrives. and we can see that with haejo story he lived his last few months to the fullest with the person he loved the most, and in the end she was the same person who sent him off the a better and happier world.
i cried like a shit show throughout the drama, it really does have a mix of every emotion. from comedy to romance and sadness. woo dohwans acting never fails to impress me, and the kiss scenes were so lustful like i had to pause and really scream out my emotions.
honestly the symbolism of the shoe was such a creative and beautiful highlight and just added a whole other meaning to the story. i would have to say this is lee yoomi best role, she portrayed jaemi very well.
