been nearly a year since lusi came out with a drama so I’ve been patiently waiting for her in pearl girl. and seeing the trailers I can tell this is going to be a masterpiece that with damage me, lusi can act a diverse range of roles and cannot wait for her to be back and prove her antis wrong!!!!
The ending was just like the book, thank you i loved this drama very much. It looks into a relationship and how issues arise even if we’re madly in love with someone, it had a realistic aspect.

I read the ending seems they both get married and having a little kid called Xing Xing. Don’t think they’ll change the ending since there is a wedding scene in the trailer but who knows

Hong-i's father loved a Japanese woman, but it didn't work out. His mother also watched over him.
Hong-i wanted to follow the same path as his grandfather and went to study abroad in Japan with Yun Dong-ju's poetry collection.
Then he meets Jungo and falls in love.

Jungo, who broke up with his girlfriend Kanna, takes a walk around Lake Inokashira to soothe his feelings, and meets a Korean woman, 'Hong-i' or 'Benie'. Jungo also falls in love with Hongi as if he had encountered a ray of light in a dark space.
The two fall in love passionately and then break up, and after 7 years, Hongi meets Jungo in Korea as a publishing company planner and he as a novelist.
Jungo runs with Hongi to understand her, and the novel ends with him running with her for 7 years.
I ran past the surprised Hongi and then made a U-turn in front of him and ran at full speed next to him. Hongi slowed down a bit and waited for me to catch up. When I overtook Hongi, Hongi, panicked, picked up speed and chased after me. Hongi looked into my face. I smiled at Hongi. And the next moment, Hongi’s face lit up. It was the same old, nostalgic Hongi’s smiling face.
