Wow. Okay. Like this show... Until now, if you asked me what my favourite drama ever was, I would've told you Wang's Family aka King's Family... But after watching this show, I can tell you wirthout. a doubt, this drama is the absolute best drama I have ever seen. It's just astounding how good this one was. The story was told so well. All the ins and outs, twists and turns, ups and downs, were just fantastic. The cast was great. Everything about the show was great. The pacing, the feel. It felt like a 16 episode show, but in 50 episode format. This is the first show I've seen with Ji Hyunwoo and he did a fantastic job as male lead. I was truly impressed with him. But then, the one who drew me to the show in the first place, Im Soohyang. The beautiful, the talented... I am speechless at her. This is without a doubt her best performance ever. It's just unbelievable how awesome she was in this. The depth that this woman is able to reach in her craft was spellbinding. I truly believe that Im Soohyang will someday attain Oscar level acclaim, just like some of the other Korean actors have (I'm thinking of course Parasite). That's how good an actress she is, in my opinion. The ending of this show was just perfect. Absolutely beautiful. Truly. This show was a truly beautiful work of art. I love Korea and I love kdramas. I am very grateful to have been able to enjoy something of this magnitude. I hope that other people discover this for themselves.
Good show! It had a good dynamic between the two leads. Sooyoung was great and Jeon Hyejin was nice as well. The show had it's own special way of telling its story. I enjoyed it.
Awww wow, I loved this :) So good! Lee Jungeun and Jeong Eunji were both awesome!!! And honestly, there were lots of places were Lee Jungeun simply stole the show! Great show!
I loved this one actually. It was different. The way they told the story was special. Sometimes you might think things moved a bit too slow, but I didn't mind it.
Simply a nice, feel good drama. It was a pleasure to watch. There weren't any unnecessary conflicts or over the top bad events in this one. It was all very well balanced. Sooyoung is beautiful!
This was actually pretty good! I enjoyed it. It's a short drama, and they tell the story briskly, but I think they do it well and I think you'd enjoy it too. Nam Gyu-ri is beautiful :D
This one I would say was good, but not great. It had a nice story but it did kind of take some twists and turns that didn't always need to be taken. I liked the way it all came together in the end, but they could've shortened it by 4 episodes if they wanted to. However, they did manage to make sense of everything regardless. It was an interesting drama, and a little different from the usual. I liked it well enough.
You know what... When you asked that, I was like... Oh, good question lol. I drew a blank. I don't know why I even said that. I looked at my ratings list after that and I guess I felt really strongly about Accidental Couple (aka That Fool), and Jewel In The Palace. Then, Boys Over Flowers and My Golden Life as well... But Maybe I should revise my statement and say Wang's Family is #1.
Beautiful drama. Wonderfully different. I only learned after finishing it that it was a remake of a Japanese drama from 1995. Anyway, I loved this. They didn't have to go on that little detour the way they did for the end, but it was a satisfying ending and in this case, the end justified the means.
Quite good! They really developed a lot of backstory with the characters. Then the story really bloomed just a few episodes before the end. 12 episodes was perfect for this story. The cinematography was slick and nice, the music was great, and the melodrama was a perfect amount. Lee Young-ae was fantastic, the male lead was great too. Recommended.
