I loved how this series tackled domestic violence.

Wow, this series is amazing. This is my first time watching them, and their chemistry is amazing! The romance definitely helps ease the problems in this series.

It was such a lesson because it teaches you not to judge others quickly since you don't know what they're going through. Also, it is a wake-up call that the signs of abuse are not that obvious and we need to be mindful always.

I know that cheating shouldn't be romanticized, but this series really made me realize that there are some cases where it is meant for the abused to survive. In this story, Getusa cheated to escape the toxic marriage she was in.

I really think that Getusa deserved better. Although she wasn't that good as a person, no one deserves to go through the same fate as her. I hate how everyone judged her based on the gossip they heard about her. (Although it's so realistic since the story took place in a province, and as someone who lived in a place like that, people don't know how to mind their own business.) During the times when the abuse took place, everyone in the community turned up against her and just added insult to the injury. And I fucking hate Chawit (the policeman) because there's a great chance that Getusa will get out of that damned marriage if he just wasn't too prejudiced towards her. Like wtf he always says that he can separate work and personal matters, but he let his personal experience with his mom interfere with the investigation.

But all in all, it was a great series (although there are some plot holes).
