I like watching characters like this and I am not a fan of anyone but I definetly willfollow Winwin since Perfect Match he is so good at portraying annoying yet emotional characters.

The wedding scene is so good, I took almost 20 screenshots.

I think some people don’t know the difference between a badly written character and a well-written gray character. Ye Xian is well written. I can see the growth in his eyes. He respects the ML and the FL. He loses his mind easily but also calms down quickly. He is childish, yet he has to be mature because he carries his family’s burden.

One minute I want to punch him in the middle of his face, and the next minute I want to pat his head. I love it when a character makes me question myself. I enjoy watching flawed characters.

I never considered him as the FL’s love interest. Even the third ML and fourth ML would be better choices. But as a separate character, I think he is very interesting.

I liked episodes 26–28, especially the dramatic Ye Xian scenes and the beautifully shot wedding scene. Everything was perfect. It’s the first time I’ve watched a C-drama that gets more interesting in the second half.

People mostly ship Ren Min and Winwin not YX and GJC. I find their BTS contents so cute. You should give it try. ☺️

You guys really want to see everything in black and white and hate flawed characters. No one defends Ye Xian, but his character is complex and well-written. Not every drama character should be a ‘green flag’; you guys are too CPF-focused and hate anything that changes the main focus of the plot. I read comments every night before I sleep. I did not see a single comment from you praising the actor.

Saying Ye Xian is just ‘pretty’ really downplays the actor’s performance. His performance is so strong that he can even make an unlikable character feel likable. Despite being extremely handsome, I’ve seen plenty of actors who still couldn’t make ‘red flag’ characters appealing to me. I don’t really like Ye Xian either, but I can still admit the actor is doing an amazing job. We should give people the credit they deserve, because reducing this to just ‘looks’ is unfair to their hard work..
