I feel like there is a good chance he knows and is just waiting for her to tell him. Some of his facial expressions and actions in the last 2 eps made me feel like he knew deep down.

Did you notice how she was patting his back/shoulder when giving him that comforting hug (in ep 15 or 16, forget which one because i watched back to back)? The patting is what he did to her in previous episodes. These two are learning love from each other. 😭 After being deprived of love and affection while growing up, they have to figure out their feelings for each other and how to show them. If they don't have a HE, I will be so upset!!

He did that to show off in front of the flower that was spying on him for that Lord guy (the brother of the king/emperor). But yes, lots of touching!
