I just realized that BJS uses birds (the white bird he sent to the sect after he met LQY) and seems like he can transform into one when they were sparring in a flashback before he gave her the flower. The guy that gave his cultivation to Suan hated birds and killed one and told Suan to get rid of it for him. He clearly didn't like BJS. I wonder what makes people not like BJS??

Yes, what cemented it for me was when BJS correctly identified her in the ice blocks and said he could never mistake his wife. I felt she was truly HRY at that point, but didn't realize she had been plotting the whole time vs memories coming back to her. I will be paying closer attention to dialogues and background visuals now. 🤣

It's so good. Even with correct guesses about HRY pretending, I feel like things are still happening that blow us viewers away!

Ep 2: the painting behind the sect leaders showing HRY (their master) in Prosperity Hall was there the whole time! It's the one that caught fire and was a sign for the sect to go fight.

I haven't paid much attention to the trailer - is the kid she's holding (I think I remember a part of her crouched down, holding a kid) a different kid from the colorblind son of the painter she bonded with?

I do feel like that female immortal lady was maybe lying to him. She seemed so nonchalant, sitting there and drinking. It was almost like she was just theorizing and not really speaking truths. It would be terrible if this caused the whole misunderstanding.

I definitely feel something regarding a child is the main grudge she has. He appears to be gone a lot during this tribulation and it was his idea for them to go through it, so I'm sure she has also felt abandoned at times in the mortal world.

I thought maybe there was some point where she regained all her memories and we would see it in a quick flashback. Like maybe after she got injured from that demon attack in the first episode. But nope, it appears it has been her the whole time!

I hate it when I watch a currently airing drama and can't binge as many eps as I want 😭 but I can't bring myself to stop watching until it's over.

I knew from that episode in Honglian's illusion when he said he would never mistake his own wife that it indicated she really was HRY. I was so shocked, though when the sect came up to fight! There was some earlier conversation in beginning episodes where the sect leader mentioned power and something else... now it makes sense because he knew the whole time.

I do think that the misunderstanding and working it out is going to be the way of finishing the tribulation. But the synopsis says after they realize the misunderstanding, they work together against a threat. So much more to unpack here!
