The drama that touched my soul
When I first heard of this drama, I tried to watch the beginning but I didn't have enough time to watch it so I waited for a few more months. After when I had enough time to see it, the female lead ATE! That's when I knew the show was going to be good. I was also aware of the heart aching ending but it isn't my first time seeing these kinds of ending.I feel bad for Liu Yu Ning being the most bullied actor for his looks, but man doesn't even look "ugly" like many call him. He executed his roles perfectly and I thought that was fine as hell. The costume choice and hair works really well on him too. An amazing singer for OSTs I would say. He's successful and laughing to the bank while haters will just hate.
I haven't heard much about Liu Shishi, but she did amazing in this drama. Although she is a cold assassin, I like that she shows some emotions unlike many other actors when playing a cold and aloof characters. At least express some joy on your face for once, it's going to get boring if viewers are seeing the same facial expression throughout the show. However, this drama got feelings and I am living for that. Speaking of facial expressions, there's also the actor playing Qian Zhao, man I love this character because he can cracks jokes with a poker face. There was a time when he wanted to kill the freed emperor to avenge his Heaven Realm brothers, you can hear the pain in his voice. Props for him as well.
I absolutely adored the combat scenes with Ning Yuanzhou and Ren Ruyi, that was extremely satisfying to watch. The agile movements and how they escape flying blades and arrows by a hair. Their sword moves *chef kiss*
One thing that made me go "huh?" was the last five episodes. Although I gave this show an overall 10/10, there were pretty random moments. The wedding scene, Yang Ying just appeared and declared her marriage with Li Tongguang for political reasons, I think that could've been done better? And the death scene of the Six Realms brothers just stacking on top of one another feels a bit rushed. Yuan Lu could've died a more honorable death rather than from exhaustion. However, every death of the Six Realm brothers that occurred felt like a knife cut in the heart huhu.
I want to say that they are reunited at the end after death, but who's kid is that at the end? Did NYZ and RRY fake their deaths? I need this question answered by the production team. I don't want to have my own interpretation. I don't remember the Chu Yue having any close bond with RRY and NYZ to be able to have an imagination of their kid.

Finally not a c-trauma!!!
It's been AGES since I found a C-Drama that doesn't have a sad or a sh*tty confusing open ending. It got a good story line and I was so hooked. When I heard about the main leads, I was also surprised because the only time I watched a drama with these actors are when they were support actors in other C-Dramas, so I decided to give this drama a go. I am not disappointed at all, the actors did a phenomenal job. The chemistry here is just fluffy~, had me kicking my legs like a little kid. If you want something that is "light-heart" I recommend this drama. Oh my heart~~~Just to mention, if you want a drama like the K-Drama "Marry My Husband", I recommend this Drama "Blossom". As it has a more complex story line with badass main couple. Their love language is just adorable throughout the whole drama.

I might need therapy and some tissues.
I was actually able to sit through this entire drama and enjoy it. I do agree with some people that there was definitely more chemistry between Ji Ling and Lu Wu Yi than between Wu Shiguang and Wu Wangyan. I love both couples, though. Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi were more like newlywed couples, and Wu Shiguang and Wu Wangyan were more mature, which technically did happen in the drama. Besides the romance, I really like that each character has their own story. I do find the first story about Xiaowei a bit confusing, but I kept watching and went back to figure out what went on. Ji Ling's backstory made me cry the most, poor little fox ;-;... he suffered and was lonely, only relying on the little fox doll. Tian Jia Rui did a good job portraying like six different characters, which made me love him so much as an actor and all his characters. I have watched Guo's other works: My Journey to You and Fangs of Fortune, but those two dramas didn't really make actor TJR stand out as much as VOF *for me*. I was never a fan of Ju Jingyi because she looked the same in every drama, and I was just not interested; however, this drama has made me see her differently. I see that her acting is all in her actions and physical movement. I wished that she could work on her crying scenes because I noticed that the sound of her sobbing sometimes does not match her facial expressions (she still made me cry, though). Joseph Zeng, I have nothing bad to say about him. Chen Du Ling, my favorite versatile actress, I also have nothing bad to say about her. I love her character Wangyan so much; she hates to kill because of her soft heart. She feels guilty and horrible after every slaughter mission she receives. Plot twists were great too.The only reason I gave this drama less than 10 is how messy the plot was. I was sometimes confused, like "how did we get here??" for some scenes. Thank goodness there weren't predictable scenes. The star stone scenes were a bit messy, but I managed. Some fight scenes were kinda dragged out. I didn't really like that. The ending was more of an open ending and felt rushed. The only reason people call it a "happy" ending is because the couple sees each other again after a catastrophe. What about their memories? Besides Shiguang, will the others be able to remember their past? I have many questions for You Chi, he's dead and came back to life, but does he remember the battle against Jiu Ying? He didn't mention anything about the battle against Jiu Ying but he does show that he still remembers the past because he came up to Mu Long. Li Jie, poor him not knowing where Ji Ling is now. After Ji Ling entered the time loop, where do the OG Ji Ling and LWY end up? Are they the same people at the end where one is selling flowers and the other with the raspberry basket? So many questions need answers because the drama was supposed to be 40 episodes, but was cut down to 29 due to censorship.

Finally a new 2025 drama!!!
I am a person who enjoys watching dramas with a strong, smart, and useful female lead; and strong, masculine, intelligent male lead. What I also like about both the characters is that both of them are very scheming and I love that. The villains and some evil side characters are annoying and irritating, so the side actors did a good job on that. Some side characters are lovable like Shao Qimin (still sobbing internally for him) and Luo Qi (including the other good ones), Sun Zhaomin seem pretty chill but the problem is that there wasn't very much screen time for her or interaction between her and the female lead which I was hoping to see by the end. I adored their friendship. The costumes are beautiful, especially Beixuan. I really love how they designed the costume for the princess Qingkou and Xuan Lie. The Beixuan style costume also look gorgeous on Jun Qiluo.
I feel that Jun Qiluo is very decisive and kind of cruel in her ways of trying to protect Xuan Lie. The lack of communication in this chemistry lowkey annoys me. Other than that, I am so glad that them two were able to stop with the nonsense with each other.
The princess is naive and annoying but I kinda grew fond of her near the end, at least she has some useful talents and can fight.
I was really hoping that Shao Qimin eventually falls for her and accept her love for him because I noticed that he kind of likes her (deep down he still cares about Qiluo more). The princess still need to grow up. I feel like she needs some character development because she seems the same throughout the whole drama.
The ending felt kind of rushed, I was hoping that they showed Xuan Lie and Jun Qiluo with their children. I also wanted to see how Princess Qingkou is doing without her Shao Qimin. I noticed many flaws and things I didn't really like, but most importantly, I truly enjoyed this drama since the first time I watched it. I'd watch it again to understand some plots better and part that I might have missed.
