For example, recently for Single Inferno S5, Netflix production staff revealed all the spoilers to people and it spread to all over social media and this made people kinda lost interest with the EG couples as they know it. It makes sense on this drama case if anyone from the production would sell the episodes for some pocket money.
iQiyi & WeTV would potentially lose money of people not buying express episodes to access earlier the final episodes as majority of chinese speaking viewers have watched it, so why risked for this kind of marketing when it affects negatively on the company’s (iQiyi) reputations and negligence? They also released a calendar schedule ahead and plan for 1 ep per day release for maximizing viewers’ retention. If they intentionally leak the episodes to keep the ‘buzz’ but it doesn’t generate to the viewership numbers as most already watched the episodes, it kinda contradicts with the platform’s strategy for viewership and profit.
I’ve multiple subscriptions to supply my kdrama and cdrama needs: Netflix, Disney+, iQiyi, Youku, WeTv. But I still use that 💋site for kdramas that are not available in my region mostly from Viki & Prime. Idc if people watch leaked episodes, but don’t risk the site to be exposed just because you’re too excited to share that you’ve watched this drama until the end.

You can rate a drama however you want, but we all here have to understand that general viewers should not follow our own rating or view of the drama whether it’s too high or too low.

We haven’t gone to the scene yet, it’s only from preview but my guess is it could be because of the report to Emperor that Marquis Wu’an and Captain Fan Chang Yu worked together on eliminating Sui family. The emperor was happy to know that there’s no threat from the Sui heirs anymore. When Sui Yuanqing escaped, they kinda blame it on LHA as he’s supposed to be leading Jizhou army that held Yuanqing captive. LHA & FCY should’ve co-lead Jizhou but LHA has higher ranking, but FCY was the one who accomplished that with Marquis Wu’an, so probably the emperor promotes her as general due to that merit and I also assume due to Wei Yan’s influence so that Grand Tutor Li lost his support over Jizhou army which he’d been eyeing for it and kinda mad when it’s split or co-lead.
