What borders me is how they didn’t even bring Min Ji to hospital for a check up like didn’t she get hit by brick twice? There’s no concussion? internal bleeding or whatsoever? And she’s almost freezing to death too, like wow her body just recovers just like that?

The villains here annoyed me too much because they’re having such loser behaviors. It’s like watching adults throwing tantrums. The villains pretty much have zero aura. Chairman Ju Gang Chan is just annoying character, that’s it.

And the SMD director, just f* off dude. Such a weakling becoming a director just because there’s no one else is a senior.

I’m more pissed at the SK leaders rather than NK for using Kim and playing “nice guy” like hell nah, you guys are the same shit as NK.

There are other dating shows have longer length, that’s why I share my opinion. They’re inexperienced when it comes to dating and some are taking some time to open up, so longer timeframe can give the contestant more time to explore and also get to know others better.

I just wish this show’s format changes in the future to make it longer, at least 2 weeks instead of 10 days. I understand that it’s the same timeframe as Single Inferno, since both shows are from Netflix, but I think for eternal singles, 10 days are just too short to get to know people and open up. It’s different from SI where all contestants are on speedrun to get the date in paradise and the production budget is huge too with paradise date, so it makes sense to make that show shorter.

Even before Jinwoo said it, I also noticed that Han Ju does look like Moon Chae Won and even the way she talks a bit similar like her.

His make up is getting better in recent episodes. It’s really bad in the beginning and it’s true that he’s not chopped irl.

I love the chemistry and the love plotline between the leads, it’s kinda slow burn (I know it’s not for Crown Prince) but one thing about this drama is that the side plots always happen so fast like it really caught you by surprise and you’ll be confused on how fast things resolve or unfold. Like what happened the whole plot about the other consort, prince Yu’s mom and his lover like this and that and done, the character died or left. Also the whole Lady Hu, Prince Ning and Gu Qing Shu, like ok done, next. And now it’s about Prince Ding and his consort, again, revealed and done — princess consort died.

Honestly this scene is a bit cringe to me but I immediately switch on my suspense of disbelief button in my brain to be able to accept that scene 😅

My gosh, they will drag Prince Xin plot until the end, I’m so tired like wrap it up please. Can’t Shin Xihe just be firm and tell him that she’s Xihe and not Qingqing? Like I know Gu Qing Zhi’s soul merge with Shin Xihe, but she’s still Xihe though

Those guys feel inferior towards her since she’s has ladyboss vibe and she’s successful. Jeong Eun has the same profession but she’s more of quiet and submissive type so she’s more approachable compared to Han Ju. This my opinion when I compare both of them

Soohyun, girl, slow down. I understand that she’s excited and this whole dating situation may be new to her that the guy she’s interested in is interested in her too, but she needs to cool it down a bit. I’m just glad that she’s in another team for the themepark date, at least she wouldn’t be seem too much with Tae Hoon. And Tae Hoon…ugh, you’re talking about return in value and know he’s just like those guys out there who would run the minute you show you’re interested in him too. I hope he’ll try to be better in the next episodes

I feel so bad for Han Ju. She does nothing wrong, tbh it’s just that all the guys there are not really for her. When she called her mom and doubted herself, I feel like telling her there’s nothing wrong with her, she’s pretty, she’s successful, she’s a catch and she’s a prize. I hope she’ll find someone outside of the show that could meet her standards.

I lowkey ship Prince Lie and Shen Ying Rou. They look good together. Prince Lie is actually kind and good general, while Ying Rou is righteous and also come from soldier family background.

You’re on point. Regarding point 1, I guess viewers tend to accept things on xianxia and historical/costume drama because it’s truly fantasy world or happened centuries years ago, it’s beyond one’s imagination so viewers tend to be less harsh and critical. But for republican drama, though the timeline is about 1 century ago, that era feels closer to viewers with historical books, documentaries and movies from the 1920s, so people can still imagine that life. Hence, when the cgi is bad and something doesn’t make sense to their standard and knowledge of that era, it’s hard to some people to ignore it

This and people said the same thing about him and TXW last time during POJ too. Only after that I see a lot of fans sharing their great chemistry bts. I’m pretty sure there’s nothing wrong between ZLH & WCR, they look fine in variety show recently

He Yu is just perfect for this role like this level of cheekiness and pettiness fit perfectly with his mischievous handsome face. I can’t imagine any other actor playing ML role.
