Why does it seem to me that the assistant wasn't the only one who planned the downfall of the FL? before adding…
Whoa, interesting theory. If this is true, then might be the eldest’s sister ex husband? idk because he might still have grudge on FL family as the eldest sister was a whistleblower
The anger is not because of just this drama. These kinds of ML's have been the trend in Cdramas and Kdramas for…
I don’t know where and how you jump into conclusions that “ it’s basically telling women that in the real world you are not capable of handling men so in dramas we will cater to you fantasy of a submissive man without testicles to be abused by you”
No one is telling women that in real world you’re not capable of handling men. Did you even read my comment about how ML was portrayed previously? It was normalizing abusive behaviors and ownership towards women (FL) and that’s even more sick for the young adults and women to believe that it’s manly for men to behave that way and man behaves that way because he loves you. In the context of this drama, it’s only 2 eps and you’re already assuming a lot of things and saying ML is submissive just because he doesn’t date around? Is it really necessary for men to date around just for him to be ‘manly’ and dominant? I really don’t get your view on this. You’re really swaying away from the context of the drama.
“to be abused by you…” what are you saying here? Those dramas are not even teaching women to be an abuser and we can see that in other dramas if FL is abusive, we viewers criticized such behavior.

I don’t have a problem with this trend because it relates to the cultural context in S.Korea. As someone who has watched kdramas for 15 years, I can see the shift of ML being dominant, kinda abusive by pulling FL’s hand or pushing FL to the wall as he’s jealous & angry, and forced a kiss (all sorts of red flags) to more green flags ML. This is to give message to women out there to keep their standards high and assurance that loyal men exist (I know it’s rare) so if he’s around, keep him. Just like in this drama, FL has been dating around but all of them are mostly jerks and which one is not?Yes, the man with only one woman in his life and he’s loyal to you, so keep him.
she does DNA tests and she does not have blood ties with FL but I didn't remember that they explicitly tell that…
Yeah she didn’t tell anyone, but just a hint to Yi Joo. When Yi Joo asked, she just walked away. I think they all just move on with their life as she seems to follow her mom’s path. I remember the grandfather treated her well still on their last conversation, so maybe it’s just her walking away from the family and the family did nothing about it. It’s her choice
ML & FL have been together since birth, they have shared every moment, being each other's first love. Following…
All her connections and powerful people are all her “friends” in the industry. They’re not her real friends, that’s why when she’s drunk she has no one to call to be her drinking buddy and hear her rants.
Those kind of people are easy to turn their back on her and I think her gallery photo concept on her so-called people kinda depicting her real life. Those people turned their back on her when she’s struggling with this scandal.
People judging ML for being a simp, a loser and unrealistic just because he seems like he hasn’t moved on.
We don’t know their back story, the real reason for their break up and people already judge them? From the brief flashbacks, it seems like there are two break ups. And what if the second clip is their last straw and we all saw how Sam Dal broke down and begging Yong Pil, and he didn’t even go to her. If this is their last moment, it kinda makes sense for Sam Dal to move on (did she really tho as all her relationships didn’t work out), dating other people because in her pov, Yong Pil dumped her. As for Yong Pil, he might feel guilty on how he treated her and mind you that they’ve a long history, they’d been together from childhood & best friends. Maybe that’s the reason Yong Pil hasn’t really moved on and not dating anyone. He might also feel that he doesn’t deserve to love anyone after what he did to Sam Dal. Like there are tons of possibilities, reasons that writer hasn’t showed yet. And people already judge his character?
Slice of life drama has always been predictable as it should. It’s all about the process and journey, so if you want plot twist and mind blowing drama, sorry to break to you that this drama won’t give you that. Read the synopsis, it’s already stated loud and clear where this drama is heading.
Romantic... or stalking. Depends on perspective. Would you be swept off your feet if your ex of 8 years suddenly…
Before they were ex, they were best friends. Of couse he’s worried about her and wants to give support. Even other friends are worried but they don’t have her number to ask how is she
Wait so who broke up with who? Ep 2 made it seem like it was different break up decisions?
I think there were two break ups. First, Sam Dal asking for it then Yong Pil was the one dumping her. Yong Pil’s friend mentioned that both of them fell in love and he followed her to Seoul right? Something must have happened in Seoul before she went to study abroad.
This is my kind of drama 🫶🏻 It’s been a while since we have a normal slice of life drama with no fantasy nor historical past-life. Love every minutes of this drama

Honestly, I don’t see a chaebol vibe in him. Not hating the ideo of him being one tho
I knew it his loveline plot will be with Su Jin, they look good together.
