I just love that the girls say Heesun is princess and Subeen agrees that she has princess vibe. I’ve made similar comment before when I watch her in early episodes like I know she’s such a princess - calm, elegance, always smiling, humble, speak politely, like to be taken care of but knows how to step up when she needs to.

She never show that she’s annoyed or downplay herself when no one chose her in early episodes. She’s still confident and didn’t even feel down after the campfire when Subeen chose Mina, she only got one gold choc, and Joo Young & Jae Jin being lovey dovey in between her and she doesn’t even feel that she’s pathetic or anything. She just do her own thing, talk to people and set her eyes on the person she likes.

OMG I love it so much! I love this bestie turned lovers trope because their bestie moments are so much fun!

It’s evil editing that made him seems like he’s using Heesun to make Mina Sue jealous when they’re just getting to know each other as he’s curious about her after the photoshoot and before the campfire. Mina Sue messed up during the campfire when he already declared that she’s his top pick, so that’s why in their conversation in ep 7, he thought they’re both into each other so he’s confused when Mina Sue chose Seung Il as top pick. Then they decided to get to know other people and if they still like each other or not, they’ll be honest with each other. This goes to conversation in ep 9 when they ended things.

Subeen & Heesun talk a lot in Inferno even to the point all contestants said they’re always sticking together. So this means it goes beyond what we’ve seen so far and not just him making move whenever Mina Sue is around. He said he wants to bring Heesun to paradise to Heesun and to others. Their slownburn relationship explained during the double date when Seung Il asked how they got close to each other.

Btw, Netflix also uploaded unreleased clip of Heesun & Subeen in Inferno before they go to paradise. They already decided to go to paradise together and Subeen also said they’re desperate to go. ✌🏼 They did not have a fall out or Heesun distancing herself after his talk with Mina Sue in ep 7 (like how it’s portrayed by the panelist) Netflix didn’t show their date in Inferno to provide suspense to the viewers.

It’s not shown, I rewatched their scene. During the campfire when Subeen talked to Heesun about food, he still used polite speech with “yo” at the end then after it ended, they walked to cafeteria and talked, they already talked in casual speech. I just find it interesting that they dropped it even before knowing each other’s age.

Yes I didn’t mean that Subeen shift interest because of dropping honorifics, what I meant is that they got closer during the photoshoot day and after campfire night, so they decided to talk casually. They already dropped it in Inferno even before knowing each other’s age.

Yeah, I’ve been to South Korea. I’m not fluent in Korean because it’s still hard for me to create sentences properly but I could understand Korean, that’s why I noticed the shift.

Just like the first couple game, after the game the couple will have 1-1 date. The losers will eat normal food and winners will eat cold noodles.

So even before the paradise date, HeeBeen couple is already being flirty 😍Netflix cut this scene making them as if they grew distant during the game but they actually already discussed that they will go to paradise later, lol.

Hyun Jae talked about Heesun with Su Been? OMG, I need the tea!! I mean it makes sense for Hyun Jae to notice Hee Sun since he’s Mr Korea. So the boys do talk about the girls there, no wonder Seung Il and Sung Min seem to be supportive of this couple 😆😆

Subeen’s body language says it all. He’s looking straight most of the time, even his body is facing front not towards Min Gee when they’re talking. In the pool when Min Gee talked about not thinking of Inferno, he’s kinda zone out looking up and he directly said he’s thinking of Heesun. I can only feel friends vibe during the their paradise date even the scene at the bed doesn’t give me butterflies because they’re just drunk af.

I’m not being biased as HeeBeen shipper, because I think the tension and chemistry between Subeen & Mina Sue is undeniable and more visible, but between Min Gee & Su Been, I just couldn’t see it.

definitely not me as Heesun’s fan since day 1, I’ve been defending Subeen. I really find them cute ever since the apple cutting in Day 2. Never once I see Subeen as using Heesun to make Mina Sue jealous after the campfire night. He’s curious and wants to get to know her better so his focus shifted to Heesun because Mina Sue messed up during the campire night. He just had some unsettled feelings towards Mina Sue after their talk. I also have been telling people that it’s evil editting when it shows the next day as if Heesun & Subeen drifted apart after his conversation with Mina Sue when I could still see they’re seating next to each other during breakfast. During the game, the panelist said “Subeen doesn’t seem happy to be paired with Heesun” and I was like boy has the same normal expression when he got paired with Mina Sue for the dodgeball game, he be doing nothing but they portrayed it that way. 😂They’re still talking during the couple game and the first round is easy so they don’t see the need to have physical touch when they could just stand normally facing each other.

And switching to casual speech is a huge thing in Korean culture. Noticed how when Ye Jin thought since she’s older than Jae Jin, she started using banmal and Jae Jin be like he didn’t say he’s okay to drop the honorifics. For Subeen & Heesun to drop the honorifics, they must feel comfortable with each other to do that.

When did anyone ask about having sex? The trailer had voice over which translated into “wanna share bed together” “there are cameras here” “F* this place”

Trailer is misleading to mix up their conversation to different footage. It could be from different conversations that they just put it together as teaser but nothing happened, the footage is from Min Gee x Su Been sharing bed together to sleep, that’s it.

I noticed that during the Heesun x Subeen paradise date, they talked in casual speech, they dropped the honorifics “yo” at the end, and they didn’t even talk about switching into banmal (casual) during the date. Then I rewatched to see when did they start talking casually. It’s after the campfire, probably while walking to the cafeteria they decided to speak casually with each other (it’s not shown). So indeed they got closer after the photoshoot after spending some time.

ok thanks, so Go Eun x I Geon and Joo Young x Hyun Jae paradise dates are indeed the last one. I was hoping we could have more before it ends.

We all feel like the girls plan this out, but we couldn’t prove it lol. He’s the only one who didn’t go to paradise, I guess Heesun didn’t want anyone to feel how she felt when she’s the only girl who didn’t go to paradise in early days. She’s also curious about him since he speaks English and of course like the panelist said, maybe 5% of the reason is to get back at Mina Sue 😆😆

8.1 rating in MDL, the highest among all seasons? Wow!!

I would say this season is actually fun and manage to make me invested every week. The last time I was invested with SI was S2, the casts were great 🫶🏻

I love how Heesun is making him look good and notice how he didn’t even call her “bro” even after knowing she can speak English 😅 He’s polite and soft with Heesun.

I also love how Heesun gave him assurance that he’s not her second pick even when he said ‘it’s gonna be awkward in helicopter’ and Heesun straight away said “it’s okay” and told him that even if she won first place, she’d still bring him to paradise.

Min Gee & Seung Il will be end game. She’s wearing the yellow dress in ep 10, the same dress in the trailer which they will walk together like hugging each other.

Let’s see how Hee Sun & Su Been will resolve the misunderstanding, I’m up for the drama.

The spoiler from cnetz which they crazily accurate so far (they mentioned that Hee Sun will be famous at later episodes and Min Gee x Su Been bed scene) mentioned that Hee Sun x Su Been and Min Gee x Seung Il are the end game couples.

Anyone of you know if this season we have 10 days or 11 days?

Day 6 - paradise couple matching
Day 7 - paradise won by the girls’ match
Day 8 - paradise won by guys’ match

On Day 7, when panelist said it feels like ending but we have 4 more days, do they mean 10 days (including the 7th day) or 11 days (7+4)?

Reason I asked is because usually the last night at the island won’t be any paradise trip, they will have group dinner at campfire and reveal their age & job and spend last night before the decision on last day. So if it’s 11 days, then aren’t we supposed to have one more paradise night?

I defended him before, but with the recent ep, I don’t like how he quickly asked for Go Eun after her pradise trip with Hyun Woo. She didn’t even get a chance to say hello to others so it does come off a bit rude. But so far I don’t hate him for that, I guess he’s just eager and afraid of losing Go Eun.

He’s a nepo baby, rumor said he comes from rich family that owns business. I mean we can see him wearing Balenciaga shirt and if he’s normal optician, I don’t think he could afford it.
