I kinda wanted more of PM Min’s background like why is he so protective over the Crown? Like I understand that they all want to retain their noble status, but I kinda wish we could see his background since his father was also a prime minister back then. But I guess most of the characters here are all at surface level.

And what is he supposed to do after demolishing the crown? Become a matrimonial husband like someone else? Will…
I also immediately thought of the young king!! like he would potentially get bullied once he lost the royal title

We’re all expecting for royal baby, where is this plot? 😆 Come on, give us fluffy and cute romcom plot again rather than political fiasco.

I kinda wanted more when Huiju confronted PM Min at the clay shooting ground. Her facial expression is on point, but I wanted more tension conversation rather than just facial expressions. Don’t tell me no words needed bs.

Ep 11 feels like we’re jumping from one scene to another and doesn’t flow well. It feels like one scene, ok done, onto the next one.

I’ve been saying that PM Min is not driven by his desire of his crush towards Huiju, he’s driven by overwhelming jealousy towards Yi An for having it all (royal blood & treatment and now the girl he likes). I mean if power is what he’s seeking, abolishing monarchy would work on his favor to become President but no, he’s questioning Yi An why he wanted freedom. But at the same time, he’s afraid of Yi An as regent or even now as King because Yi An is not a puppet that he can easily control. It’s more like he wants to control both Crown and nation, but he didn’t want to take full accountability of leading the nation and also want to retain the noble hierarchy.

I disagreed during first 4 eps for this drama to be only 12 eps, but now I feel like it’s enough and I just want this drama to wrap it up. I guess I was kinda pissed with overused troop of fire incidents in palace like if I were normal citizen, I would feel that the palace is such a f up place for it to be easily exploded like that. After multiple incidents, they only had small figure extinguishers and water buckets? smh

If they can have royal physicians, can’t they at least afford royal firefighters to be on duty for any accidents in the palace? It couldn’t only be fire or explosion, there are tons of accidents could happen.

I feel like they’re not using Jinmu’s actor of his full potential as evil/villain. Him as Lord Inpyeong here is so lacking and boring like he’s not even that important.😅

Imo, the hidden girl that QM talked about is Lee Ah Reum, it’s not someone new. QM wants her to confess Lord Inpyeong’s crime as she’s siding with Yi An after her deep thoughts and she knows he won’t make her pay her sins for hiding late King’s dying wish.

Its evident from their past interactions, that they were friends, though she liked him, he did not. But he used…
They’re not direct blood related. She comes from a family who had 4 queens, so it’s more of distant relatives who are related to direct heir to royal family. You can see the scene during council hall, they’re all cabinets and royal relatives, could be descendants from grand princes and grand princess in the past.

i felt kind of disgusted (small amount) by the way qm cried in front of ian and seeing his response.. and pressing…
He has soft spot for his SIL, probably because they’re close friends. I assume they kinda grew up together like playmate as Queen Mother is also from royal relative, so they must had interactions in the palace when they’re kids. He also probably knows that she’s struggling after becoming Crown Princess, that’s why he asked his brother to give a bit attention to her and care for her. There’s also short clips on how he accompanied his SIL for royal duties since his brother bailed on her. He didn’t blame her for hiding the late King’s dying wish because he knows she’s just trying to protect the Crown Prince, his nephew that’s why he hesitated to take action. Now that he wants his throne back, he won’t make her pay for her sins for the sake of his nephew as she’s still his mother and it’s not her who started the fire, he saw her coming out from the King’s room. Yi An also knows that the one who has been plotting to hurt him and now Huiju, is Lord Inpyeong, not her.

THIS. And the fact that her father is a Lord, so it means that she’s a royal relative as well so he probably just treats her like a family member.

I just love our royal couple can resolve their conflicts and miscommunication quite fast. They didn’t drag it too long. Even when Yi An was mad, he just went alone to cool down himself and replied when Huiju said she’s sick. They both know that they’re plotting things on their own to protect one another.

I thought Queen Mother would send a message to Grand Prince about her father scheming with PM Min and warn Yi An to not trust PM Min, so I was hoping Yi An didn’t enter the council hall. But the preview seems like he did got into accident. But this incident would make Yi An to be able to pin down the crime to Lord Inpyeong and PM Min. I think Castle group will once again help to stir the media to be in the favor of the new King.

The press conference from Seong Tae Ju was peak. It runs in the blood that Seong family is just a baddie, lol. I thought the whole scandal went down after the articles, but there are still people demonstrating in front of the place 😅😅 Must be Jinmu’s people 🤷🏻‍♀️

No hate to Steve Noh, but his character as PM Min made his face look punchable, like I got irritated whenever he appears now.

Can I just say it now? Everything that has happened today happened because Huiju couldn't keep a secret around…
I mean Huiju is partly at fault, but she didn’t mean to reveal it. PM Min just heard about it when he walked in to her wardroom. It’s secretary Do who said it out loud 😅

Huiju, girl, I thought you preach with the whole idea of fighting back to protect someone you love. She was mad as hell when Yi An wanted to break up to “protect” her, but now she’s doing the same? Thank God the preview seems to show that they’ll fight it out together.

The way the contract revealed was such a lackluster, so much screentime on few days before the contract leaked, but it’s nothing burger.

What pmo is that they didn’t show the full contract, in the article and even when Queen Mother gave it to PM Min. Like was it even a real contract because the safe box is back in background in today’s episode. Why didn’t Yi An check if their contract is there or not?

The only thing satisfied me in ep 9 is when Yi An choked the hell out of Jinmu and when they showed that Yi An and little CP actually heard the argument between late King and Queen. Grand Prince is really trying his best to protect his nephew, the only family he had left.

PM Min is pmo so bad to the point looking at him making me mad. At this point, he doesn’t really like Huiju, but more of personal vendetta towards Grand Prince and he just covets what Yi An has.
