Before this, I still defended him because all he did was saving her though he’s annoying. But after watching ep 27-28 preview, I had enough because Ming Yi clearly rejected his advances in ep 26. I hate whatever bullshit of longevity blood that he would do and he might revive the netherbeast power again as he’s wearing MQB’s ring.

The Emperor, Ming Xian’s dad has sign on his forehead which is the same sign that young Ji Bozai had on his forehead, so a lot of speculation that there’s a switch-at-birth trope. Ji Bozai mentioned about this forehead sign again in ep 26 and he said he doesn’t really want to find his family. Ji Bozai could be the real Ming Xian, and Ming Yi has no blood relation to the royal family in Yaoguang Mountain. There’s a theory that the Empress gave birth to a boy without spiritual vein, so she took Ming Yi in because she has a strong spiritual vein to switch place and make her grows up as a male.

No he did not. Ep 20 after he refined netherbeast, Buxiu was worried that JBZ’s body is weakened and there’s a scene of his wrist (without petals) but seems like Heavenly Grief. Master Bo Yu Lan made that GMD for him since she’s dying and she knows he needed it.

If JBZ already consumed GMD, he would be unstoppable and reached highest cultivation which he’s not now.

Theory on Bo Yu Lan’s message to Ji Bo Zai:

It’s safe to assume that Master She is Ming Yi’s father after ep 26 since he knows Zhulong and he said that he’ll always be an outsider meaning eventhough if he’s married to Bo clan, he can never enter their ancestral home. He asked Zhulong to check the child because he knows that Ming Yi is the last Bo Clan, which is his child with his wife from Bo Clan (the other lady who called Ming Yi, good girl)

During the attack of Bo clan, the Empress brought back Ming Yi/Xian as she has a strong spiritual vein. As a revenge for what happened to Bo clan, Bo Yu Lan took the Empress’ baby, Ji Bo Zai and dumped him into Sunken Abyss (probably the scene that she’s holding the baby during soul seizing technique). That’s why she said that she owed him forever, a debt that she could never repay. She probably felt guilty and that’s why she saved him back then when he escaped.

Because she wouldn’t want to take it if she knew as she doesn’t want him to disrespect his master’s last wish. And if he told her after, it’d also be hard for her to accept it. Human emotions are complicated.

I guess we can all assume that JBZ already put GMD on the scallion pancake to cure Ming Yi. So many hints like “don’t waste, every single bite is precious and finish it” “Yes it’s mine, I’ve handled it properly” “There’s future”

My guess is that since Ming Yi already had GMD, she could cultivated into the highest stage and can revive the Diwu root trees that she needs to create GMD. She’ll pursue create it for JBZ since he’s poisoned as well.

I think this time, no one can mess with the last Bo clan, because Ming Yi is a strong warrior and if she cultivates to the highest stage, it would be hard for anyone to challenge her and steal the recipe.

He didn’t take it because that’s the last thing his master gave him before she died. Either he cherished it so much or he’s using it to lure the people who killed his master. Buxiu did mention for him to take care of his body, but he just delayed taking it. GMD shouldn’t exist in this world, but his master used her cultivation at the last moment to give the antidote to JBZ because she knew that he’s poisoned.

He’s affected by Heavenly Grief as we could see that he’s in pain sometimes, but it could be because he didn’t have spiritual vein before, so he gained one when he got poisoned. The effects are greater to those who’s born with spiritual vein if they use their spiritual vein which mentioned by Master She in episode 1. Master She also mentioned to Ming Yi that if she didn’t use her spiritual vein at all, she could live up to 1 year. Ming Yi is now weakened because she only had 1 petal left.

I can see the story will go that JBZ will be weakened by heavenly grief after this and MY will find the ingredients to make GMD for him.
