This. His fandom has never been inclined to share anything of that sort. Not sure why this is even an issue. Just watch the drama when the time comes and focus on him if it’s a fan of his, and on everyone else if it’s a fan of them. Simple.

I’m replying to your initial comment “sometimes cropping etc” (hard to reply to a specific post) because I forgot about one important point. We can’t really worry about the fandom losing face because there are receipts and XTH have a very clear directive of being supportive of anyone UNLESS there is a loss of trust and respect, which honestly should guide every relationship in every aspect of life. Also they’re no longer easy to bully the way it was back in 2021-2023. I still consider it all to be incredibly silly until it becomes harmful, and he has been subjected to harmful attacks, so it’s only natural that the good old days of XTH tolerating everything are long gone. Best thing to do is try not to fall for any traps and focus on what really matters.

To be fair, this was to be expected. The top ones in the official fanclub were aware and so they are acting accordingly. If it makes you feel any better, Tan and XTH aren’t the first ones and they won’t be the last, so don’t worry about being seen as this or that. We’re only the most recent ones.

Well, that’s a bit odd because XTH shouldn’t even be sharing any material that has no Tan in it. XTH or any fandom isn’t supposed to be sharing materials of unrelated individuals. At least to the best of my knowledge that’s how it has always been, precisely to avoid conflicts of interest and ultimately, fan wars. The main guideline is “focus on your own”. The ones who need to be sharing other actors and actresses materials are their own fandoms.

Not sure what is going on with that cesspool that is Twitter (I refuse to call it X), but no XTH would actively sabotage any of his dramas. What would constitute sabotaging in this context?

Yep, totally agree. This is what I meant when I mentioned infantilizing the audience. I’m afraid that’s the easy way out of having to deal with backlash from the HE crowd. Unfortunately it weakens the entire drama :(
