At the risk of sounding blasphemous, some aspects of the Chinese version are even better than the original. Now time to watch the kdrama again. Well, I haven’t finished this one yet to be able to rate it in its entirety, and the kdrama is the blueprint which makes the cdrama’s existence possible in the first place. But I think it will be difficult to have a winner because they’re both great for different reasons. I love the original and now I’m sure I’ll also love the remake. For me, it’s about the story. Like a favorite book translated to multiple languages.
