The 15 year deal was such a turn off. And yes, to say Jing is the only one who loves her in an unselfish way, putting her above all else just makes me so mad. XL literally gave his life to make XY & Jing happy ending possible. How can people not see that?

Hahahahahaha he's too fine OMG. I haven't read the novel (I only read some spoilers here and there to try to make my peace with it) so I can't really say how his character is from a literary point of view, but in the drama... DAMN I don't think they knew what the response would be when they cast that man because if they did they'd change that ending ASAP 😹

Totally. It's one thing to read words on a page (I haven't read the novel, but sure, I could come to terms with it), but the way this all has been brought to life on screen, it's like they're deliberately trying to make us angry when it's all over.
