It’s not messy. It’s just not linear. If you can’t handle nonlinear plots, it doesn’t mean it’s not good. Many non western stories don’t follow the concept of linear time

I want to like it but the overacting is cringing me out 😭
the acting is based on the comic... It's like how JBL acting is based on the manga. That's why it's overacting. If you think realism is the only "correct" style of acting, then you should stop watching Asian shows. Asia has its own heritage of acting and drama for centuries and many actors are influenced by this tradition.

You're looking at it from your POV. But can you look at it from Prince's POV? It's consistent since Prince is a forgiving and loving person who likes beautiful boys. And Prince knows that Banjong is only doing it for the love of the country - and a man's duty is very sexy in Asia.

For character development to occur, we need to understand why the character changes. It's a process, their backstory, why they think that way, etc. Pandao changes too suddenly like a light switch ON/OFF after knowing P and K are together. I like the series! I'm just saying it's not really a good character development.
