it's a cute story but Si Yeol's acting... he's clearly not in love with short king. Si Yeol the actor is so, very, extremely straight. You can be a straight actor and do a good job like most of the Thai BL actors. But unfortunately Si Yeol's heart is really not in the series. His eyes are just blank when he looks at the short king. You can see that he's imagining he's somewhere else.
In ep2, Sasin spied at Prince hugging a woman and then later, an uncle spied at Prince and Sasin hugging. In Khemjira, you have people eavesdropping all over the place too. No secrets is safe in Thailand!
1. the rims of his eyes are red. that means something irritates his eyes to produce tears. Real crying doesn't do that.
2. the editing. They cut away, so they can put eyedrops in his eyes. If he's real crying, directors will never cut away because directors want to show the acting skills.
But anyway, it's not about the crying. I'm fine if he can't cry. It's just the overall acting skills. He's giving duck lips, acting cute all the time. Reminds me of tul in Manner of Death, and Khaotung after Eclipse. I understand their agents will pressure them about their looks, so they are self conscious in front of the camera, but they forgot that acting isn't about looks, acting is about skills. Look at Singto, he's not the best looking actor, but his acting is amazing.
Mawin didn't want it then why would he write the exam ? Did u even watch it properly? Not writing exam is not…
Where did I show that I didn’t know why Mawin didn’t go to the exam? Why do toxic fans make it so hard to like the series? Your unloveable fan behaviour is why ppl don’t like seakeen, why ppl don’t like you.
Ok I’ve been praising seakeen and the first 3 episodes…. But the last ep is pretty disappointing. Sea’s acting is… limited all along. So that’s expected, I didn’t mind. But it’s keen.. I have been saying he had improved but in this ep, he still lacks the maturity to act scenes of internal struggles. Mawin not sitting for the test is a lame excuse for a breakup. It’s not even something mawin would do. Mawin being a smart person will know Er won’t want to win this way. It would be better if Er won it on his own merit. Or Mawin wins it.
Just saw a review at MAL: "This show is a closet BL. I don't appreciate it not being upfront about it with its genre tags, especially since I was initially suspicious of this but decided to give it a watch anyway due to it not being listed as bl. The story immediately went in a direction I found to be disappointing (less of a small town mystery than I expected) but the added BL really makes it unwatchable."
