I just like the feeling when drama adaptations remains 80% or 90% faithful to its original source materials. I'm not Qian Shan Che Ke, but I really feel respected.

with LOTFG finished airing, I still choose this as QSCK's best drama adaptation. despite being a low budget drama, the characters and production still gave justice to the plot. I really love the feeling when drama adaptations remains atleast 90% faithful to the original source material. im not the author but I feel respected. ❤️

they should've klled CZ instead. I never thought CZ would be more slappable and nerve wracking here🤣

i really thought the writers would skip his death in the drama. 😭 But they gave him screentime and he keeps on mentioning his pregnant wife, it doesn't sit right with me. 😭

i bet those non novel readers wouldn't feel the pain when some characters died. unlike me who's been reading and re reading the novel until the drama release. bruhh in the drama yan he's death seems so rushed I bet no one's really crying over his death. 😭

it's not that bad actually. the drama is like a summarized version of the novel with Little tweaks.

Topic: Death of Some Characters

1. good thing they didn't kill anyone in heyan's squad since the chars who were actually got killed didn't exist in the novel.

2. yixiang's death in the novel was gruesome, and tbh her death in the drama was just for CZ's character for viewers to pity him. poor yingxiang.

3. Yan He, I expected him to be spared in the drama but his frequent screentime gave me an idea that he'll be killed too according to the novel.


4. and lastly, the King is supposed to get killed by the crown prince, but I guess the screenwriters let him live since there's no crown prince appearance in the drama.

i really like the texture used for this drama, grainy and sharp. i could see the actor's pores and cakey makeup. lol
