Nah I'll just leave this drama behind. I'm sure having 1 less viewer wouldn't make a dent to this drama that's apparently very good every fans think that I'm stupid or a bitch just because I don't praise the actor to the high sky.

I was actually excited when I see the announcement for the date of the drama, because I've read the novel long ago. Bought it in meb, love it so much, and I thought I would support it. But I can't express my disatisfaction towards the acting without being attacked and look down on like I'm stupid and can't see things.

Third's acting for now just consist of him being cold and indifferent, so I can't say anything. Hope he improves though, but I won't continue watching. Enjoy

I don't hate the first episode, and I just pointed out that the acting is lacking, especially during that episode. I know the fans love it, but I'm talking from the point of the outsider. I don't know the actor, I don't care about the actor, I just watch the drama as it is without any rose tinted glasses.

Make up doesn't really matter to me. Because there are many ways actor can act to convey their emotion. They can do it with their eyes.

What I have problem with is the way the character was portrayed and acted. I'm sure everyone panic attack is different, but my friend, throughout the years she had that problem, never once have this exaggerated moment. She cried silently, being quiet all of a sudden, and really have cold body. So I was not sure whether the actor is told to exaggerate or whether they just choose that route.

This is not you though, but people throwing insult at me is weird for just saying slightly negative opinion about the actor. And it's just an opinion. If they're so angry they insult me, means that I'm right on the mark and they can't refute it.

Anyway, thank you for being civil and have a good discussion. But I think I will leave this drama behind and I don't need to give it a chance since what's the point of discussion if the people here can't accept anything negative?

Too bad, because I do like the novel and was excited to watch it. I watch it, it didn't meet my expectation, I write down my feeling that I think it's not as good as I thought it would be, and somehow I got insults thrown at me. 1 less viewer wouldn't make a dent I guess.

I don't even know who the actors are. I just wath the drama and comment on them. If you are professional actors and you can proof it to me that I'm wrong about my own opinion, which is again an opinion, then you are welcome to do so.

I didn't even hate on the actor. Again, I tell you, I don't know the actor and I don't care. I see what I see, and I comment based on what I see. If you don't like it, you can talk it out and explain it to me instead of throwing insult

Throwing insult is done by people who didn't know what else to say to refute the opinion of others

We've been friends for a long time, and she suddenly got panic attack after very high pressure from her past job (she quit and get a better job thankfully). It's crushing her and she was not in a good place for quite some time. Because she always share her story with me, I know what happen. And that was the first time she got panic attack in public. She did get panic attack at night randomly and called me to calm her down, and that's why I have specific ringtone just for her so I can wake up even in the middle of the night to take her call. That's all I can do since I'm not an expert and was also still young at that time (it was around 15-18 years ago? it's been so long already)

To me in that particular scene, it was not well done. Because I experience it with my friend irl, when she got a panic attack she had trouble breathing and the best thing she can do was grabbing my hand, her hands cold, and she was stiff all around and it took so long for her to calm down. and even then, she looked so lost and her hands stay cold throughout the hours we were together.

I was not as good as Third in calming her down, what I can do is to stay beside my friend, but since I know how she was at that time, I feel like the exaggerated take hurts my heart a lot. Plus, when I saw that it was not that well done, I might be a little bit disappointed.

The actor who played Nine is actually good. Because I already read the novel beforehand, so I understand his mindset. Which is why, having him being portrayed like that on the screen make me feel that the actor is able to show his acting skill very well.

The other lead, I'm not sure. What he did so far is acting cold so I'm not sure whether he can pull that off until the end.

To be honest, I don't remember them in Your Sky. They're the friends of the bar owner? Or the friends of the other lead?

Back again, it's my opinion. I don't feel his acting yet, and it could be just me.
For now, I'm observing

The panic attack was not handled well, in my opinion. Again, this is just my opinion

I'm not sure why the director asked him to act like that, but even in small moment, he is a bit stiff to me. I might not be a good judge on acting, and everyone else might be right. But I can feel this awkwardness radiating on my screen, and maybe that's why I'm not into his acting

I saw irl my friend having a panic attack and maybe that's why I'm thinking even in that moment, it was not properly handled. Everyone panic attack might be different, but I go by the irl example, which happened right in front of my eyes, so based on that knowledge, I'm not convinced with his acting yet

Any relationship started in a lie, will always have a bad result. No matter how small the lie is.

And I can feel Moth being uncomfortable and this slight unease in his demeanor whenever Dr Phun is doing "things" for him. It's not bad to celebrate with friends, but when the other person clearly has ulterior motive it reeks so bad, anyone would be uncomfortable.

I'm not sure in what direction the drama is going, but I'm interested enough to continue

The part where I feel this the most is during the encounter on the rooftop. The excessive blinking, and the way it's so not naturally acted. It might screw my perspective but I feel like the main lead have problem with his acting.

The other guy basically just have to stand there looking stern so I can't judge it. But the main lead, which is the MC of the story, being bad in acting is hard for me to watch. Plus the story is not super engaging enough to maintain interest.

I can understand some limitation in acting range, especially for a newbie, but not to excuse bad acting. It should be called out, so the actor know that they should improve.

Yes, they have to start somewhere. Do I state that he shouldn't act? I was pointing out that his characterisation didn't have soul in it, which is an important part in acting. I always believe that anyone who wanted to act as lead should at least build their portofolio first. They should start small before gradually going as lead. But then again, I just state that their acting is bad, but I don't say anything that they shouldn't become the leads

The novel is really simple actually. More like slice of life. Not much drama happened in the novel, so the drama is already different in that area.

I usually don't mind drama adaptation different than the novel, as usually they at least keep the core of the story. But this one already different story, different core, just like borrowing the name of the novel and the characters, and at least the main plot.

Because in the novel, Mochi is actually a stranger, not their friends. And Krit-Mochi actually boyfriends, rather than a fake one

Mochi is always angry and aggressive towards Darin because he feels threatened, since Krit is a two-timer two-faced guy. The drama change this dynamic but didn't change the core of the character, that's why it ends up so confusing

I usually judge a drama based on its own merit, not based on the novel. But GMMTV I think need to be stopped at adapting drama from novel, if they're going to change the core of the drama to fit their narrative. Might as well just say it's their own creation, they're just borrowing the names and the basic plot. Saying it an adaptation is really too generous if they're changing a lot.

Episode 1 didn't give me a lot of confidence. Is it comedic? Maybe. Is it bad? No. Is it good? Also no.

The acting from the 4 main leads kinda stiff and I feel like their soul is not into it. The ML of the main couple is so stiff I don't know whether he's constipated or not. The MC definitely is better, but surrounded by people who is below him in terms of acting, somehow make him acting bad too? I don't know.

The second couple is okay for me. I don't really mind. I didn't like cheater, but each to their own. But I don't think I can see them as a good romantic couple. Any relationship started with lying will always end up in a lie.

Might need to wait for episode 2, but this was quite a disappointment to me.
