I can understand some limitation in acting range, especially for a newbie, but not to excuse bad acting. It should be called out, so the actor know that they should improve.

I always believe that anyone who wanted to act as lead should at least build their portofolio first. They should start small before gradually going as lead. But then again, I just state that their acting is bad, but I don't say anything that they shouldn't become the leads

The novel is really simple actually. More like slice of life. Not much drama happened in the novel, so the drama is already different in that area.

I usually don't mind drama adaptation different than the novel, as usually they at least keep the core of the story. But this one already different story, different core, just like borrowing the name of the novel and the characters, and at least the main plot.

Because in the novel, Mochi is actually a stranger, not their friends. And Krit-Mochi actually boyfriends, rather than a fake one

Mochi is always angry and aggressive towards Darin because he feels threatened, since Krit is a two-timer two-faced guy. The drama change this dynamic but didn't change the core of the character, that's why it ends up so confusing

I usually judge a drama based on its own merit, not based on the novel. But GMMTV I think need to be stopped at adapting drama from novel, if they're going to change the core of the drama to fit their narrative. Might as well just say it's their own creation, they're just borrowing the names and the basic plot. Saying it an adaptation is really too generous if they're changing a lot.

Episode 1 didn't give me a lot of confidence. Is it comedic? Maybe. Is it bad? No. Is it good? Also no.

The acting from the 4 main leads kinda stiff and I feel like their soul is not into it. The ML of the main couple is so stiff I don't know whether he's constipated or not. The MC definitely is better, but surrounded by people who is below him in terms of acting, somehow make him acting bad too? I don't know.

The second couple is okay for me. I don't really mind. I didn't like cheater, but each to their own. But I don't think I can see them as a good romantic couple. Any relationship started with lying will always end up in a lie.

Might need to wait for episode 2, but this was quite a disappointment to me.

I've read a lot of Danmei with ABO theme and most of them are really toxic. Which is why I don't expect any consent or fluffy stories when it comes to ABO. I watch it for the ride and fun.

I myself had ranted a lot of times regarding ABO danmei stories, and after years I finally accepted that ABO is never going to be drama-free or toxic-free, except for a very very very very few

the second couple kinda crazy

Is it just me or anyone else feel annoyed with the way Jam talks. You can be overly polite and cute without sounding like you're grating through your teeth everytime you talk. And sadly, he's the main character with a lot of monologue. Even his monologue is like this.

The story is not bad. There are some parts that I think is overdone, but overall it's okay. I just can't stand the way Jam talks, so slow and with his overly fakey tone. I wish it was more normal

I just don't see the point of rewatching everything, except for maybe some parts. Since it's revenge drama, it's like one and done deal, since you know how they will do the revenge

Even the villains feels like evil people from the cartoons like Bugs Bunny or similar. It didn't make me feel bad though, just make me wonder why they had to act like that, since it feels so different from the rest of the cast

I need to be honest first: I genuinely really really love the series

I haven't read the novel yet (already bought it from Publang, just don't have time to read it right now due to other obligations, like work and real life), so my opinion is based on the drama alone.

Drama with a revenge theme is already so common in dramaland, it's like the bread and butter of any conflicts within a drama. Both Sun and Jay carry their own burden, past, trauma, and sadness, but one is so different than the other. Sun is more hot headed, he will head directly to the problem and fix it. Jay, however, more meticulous and didn't mind the long wait to get what he wanted.

And when these two met with each other, the rest is history.

I really genuinely love the drama. Though I think that the start is too slow. There are some parts in the first 2 episodes I would like to be changed, but in overall, I really love the setup.

The two main leads, Sun and Jay, are such polar opposites watching them together is always a blast. And whenever Jay appear on my screen, I smiled. He's such a genuinely handsome guy, and I wanted Sun's steel heart refusing Jay over and over again (before he finally fall of course). And the NC scene is crazy. It was so spicy I screamed the whole time they have that moment together.

I even manage to get my friend, who is not into drama adaptation, to watch it. Not only because of the NC scene, but also because it's genuinely a good show. Too fast paced at times, but still enjoyable nonetheless.

Plot/story: 7.5/10. The beginning was really tedious, the setup takes too long for a drama that ends in just 10 episodes. Some parts are dragged far too long
Acting: 7.5/10. The two main leads are fire together, and some actors really playing their role to perfection. But some of the older actors I believe get too cartooney at the end, especially the villain
Music: 10/10. One word = BRILLIANT
Rewatchability: 6/10. I don't think everyone will rewatch the entirety of the drama. Some parts maybe, but not everything

Overall score: 7.5/10

Yeah I don't think he's that bad. Just that his partner is too outstanding. That was quite the problem
But again, he's decent when acting with his sister and with others. People said harsh things but I never really think he's a bad actor at all

I think I understand why people think that Tee's acting is not good. It's not that he's not good, but his partner is much more oustanding. Put them side by side, their differences in acting skill really glaring.

But in normal scene, Tee is a decent actor. He played his character well and I actually adore him as our resident policeman. He make me believe that he really believes in the justice system, where everyone else don't think like that.

I might have a different perspective than the others here because I watch it with almost no expectation. I like the summary, I watch it

It's definitely not the most captivating drama of all time, but it's also not the worst. The idyllic scenery, the simple plot, and the interaction between the characters what make me stay to continue watching it.

It was not the most high budget drama, and there are times when I feel like the drama is not able to show their best, but again, it's also not the worst quality. I think it's decent. Love story is good, the interaction between characters also good, and it's simply fun to see a different setting than just a city full of people all the time.

There's story about past trauma, which is actually beautifully played. Though, as all dramas, past trauma can be solved by love. There are some weak links, but it's saved by how I love the characters as themselves. They're not coming as very annoying, but have enough personality of their own to make me smile. The only "bad" apple in the room is the cartoony villain (the former best friend of our ML), other than that I think the story didn't have any high stake in general.

Plot: 6/10. Again, not the best but also not the worst
Acting: 6.5/10. They manage to convince me, so all good
Music: 8/10. Love it!
Rewatchable: 5/10. No point to rewatch, unless the viewer really wanted to see the NC scene and some loving moments between the leads

Overall: 6/10
