Seems it's just me, but I don't feel any chemistry between Gun and Pitch. The series poster implies they'll eventually…
Same. Gun showed no interest in Pitch. He was more annoyed when Pitch started following him around. And all of a sudden he likes pitch? I don't buy that.

My theory is that piseang and pear are not marrying because of love. If they liked each other they wouldn't wait 12 years. Maybe they just want to appease their parents. Like both of them are gay and their family won't accept it, so it's a pretend marriage. Or maybe only Pear likes piseang and not vice-versa.( IN THE ORIGINAL VERSION NOT CHANGED ONES) Piseang doesn't have any interest in pear right now. We can see piseang is clearly flirting with kawi from the start. He lents Kawi money. He is talking good things about kawi to pear. He doesn't quite like kawi yet, just trying to be a good friend but it will change. Let's wait and see if my intuition is right or not.

God Kawi is the definition of what an introvert awkward person goes through in daily life. He also proves that introverted person never becomes friends with people themselves, an extrovert meets and just adopts them.

Title Our Dining Table Spoiler
It's too simple to "blame" the brother for everything. I know from experience that my perception of a very hurtful…
It's not resentment, it's self-preservation. If Yutaka feels like he can be happy with them or even can behave normally with them I have no problem with that. But from what they showed on the show he felt uncomfortable to even sit there. And it's not even about being Japanese or being an introvert. I am not comparing them with Minoru and Tane. He went out with his colleagues with whom he keeps a respectable distance, but he did not look uncomfortable sitting there. But he doesn't even feel comfortable eating in front of his family. Yes, a lot of us put up with our family. But as an adult, he has the right to choose what he wants to do. He told his brother he found his place, so now maybe he doesn't even expect anything from his family. That's why he decided to visit them. You can't be hurt if you don't expect anything right? I just want the brother and his family to understand their fault. They don't even have to apologize. They just shouldn't make Yutaka feel like he was the one at fault. Like he is doing a crime if he doesn't visit them often. The brother tried to put all the blame on Yutaka, who was the one who bullied Yutaka first. That's gaslighting. If he keeps doing that, then it would be better for Yutaka to keep his distance from them. Then it would be self-preservation, saving himself from a toxic environment.

Again, it's just my take on this show. I haven't read the manga, so don't know the backstory. I said what I got from the show. You are fully entitled to have your own opinion. I just really got into the story. Sorry if you felt offended about anything. Have a great day!

It's too simple to "blame" the brother for everything. I know from experience that my perception of a very hurtful…
Yutaka was fragile even before he came to this family, but after his brother's behavior toward him he just closed off. I think the main fault was their parents. If you are bringing another boy into the family, shouldn't you make your son sit and make him understand the situation? And in the dining table when the brother was saying those things about Yutaka did they even say anything to their son? Did they try to talk to Yutaka afterword? And why did the brother was the one to stay up at night instead of the parents? In present it feels like the parents don't even know or acknowledge the fact that Yutaka has a reason to stay away from them. They behave it's natural for a child to not visit home without any reason. They behave like they took in Yutaka to only take the responsibility in terms of material things not of him as a part of their family. I can stay mad at my sibling for one day and my mom will find out in hours. They really want me to believe they don't know the relationship between the brother was even not even on talking term? When Yutaka saw his brother in the convenience store he looked TERRIFIED. And given his behavior do you really want me to believe the brother actually likes him? I may hate somebody from the core of my heart and still won't talk to them in that way. And about japanese people being closed off and not showing emotion, I would believe it if the brother ignored him or not talk to him at all. If you are actively being hostile to someone, how can you expect somebody to believe you secretly like them? Is it like the saying , boys annoy the girl they secretly like? Sorry, even being asian I don't believe that. I have faced the opposite situation, where I am being good to the person I actually hate. But I don't think anybody will actively being rude to the person the like. That doesn't even make any sense. I can even forgive the brother for being young but their parents deserve no forgiveness.

I can be wrong. This is purely my opinion. You are entitled to have your own opinion. But Yutaka should not just forgive them. If he wants he can keep a relationship with them as long as he doesn't feel like he can't eat with them. Like, that's the minimum comfort one expects from their family.

I will never forgive Yutaka's family for what they made him go through. So his brother wants to say Yutaka is to be blamed for their distance? You are the one who made him feel out of place. Of course he won't play with you. Did you ever try to talk to him in a normal way? When they met in the convenience store it SHOWED how much he detest Yutaka. So he took care of him when he was sick. Doesn't change ANYTHING. If his family cared little about him, they would see how he behaves around them. They would try to TALK to him. Why adopt him if you are gonna ignore him? You can feel where you are wanted and where you're not. Yutaka found his place, that's enough for him. Now if Yutaka wishes he can keep a relationship with them, or not. If you can't even sit properly with those people, they are not your family. I believe family is made with love, not blood ( and in this case, they are not blood-related as well). I want Yutaka, Minoru, Tane, and their father to live together. The main reason I love this story is because this is mostly a single-parent trope. To Minoru Tane comes first and Yutaka knows that (unlike the girl from uni). Even he would put Tane before Minoru. This is why they will work out. Yes I know I love them. Can't believe it is ending next week.

not complicated. She knows he will be killed by the big goons. so, she is keeping him away.. she doesn't care about…
Sorry If it felt like I was being racist. I am asian. I know how parents feel about their children here. I think in this case they are showing what a typical parent would do in her situation. She wanted her son to succeed, but not at the cost of his life. She drove him hard to do everything against his wishes but says it is for his own good. And most importantly, the marriage perspective. She knows her son's mental age is 7 for now, how should she expect anyone to marry him without knowing all this? She doesn't want Kang-ho to be a prosecutor again but shows off all his past accomplishment to get him married. She thinks getting him married will help him solve his problems. All these are things I have seen in real life, that's why I said that she is behaving like a typical asian parent. I'm sorry if it felt like I was being offensive. I was just trying to say that they portrayed the typical asian parent mindset through her in this show.

I would have preferred the other friend as Dr.Yoo than Go Yoo. Like, how is it even relevant to the story? We are supposed to see Joon having Go Yoo's characteristics but now we are seeing Go Yoo having a total 180 degree? For what reason? And Joon left for......20 years? Why? He was scared to be sick? FOR 20 YEARS? We deserved a better ending.

I know she is behaving like typical asian parents, doing what she THINKS is best for her son's life. She wants to see him settle down before she dies. But she doesn't care about her son's feelings ever, not before nor now. She does what she thinks is best. The real problem is being an asian I get what she is doing, but that doesn't mean what she is doing is right.

I don't understand the mom. What does she want? If she didn't want him to end up this way, why did she force him to be a prosecutor? She wanted him to be rich and powerful, but not be corrupt? She did not want him to take revenge? He bought home a girl, and she didn't question anything cause she was rich. If he had bought Mi-joo I don't think she would get the same reception. I am really trying to reason with her but just can't. She deserved what Kang-ho put her through. I'm not saying she deserves to die, just that she made him that way. Now she can't expect him to be a normal person. I just can't like her.

Same. I do not get the FL character. I guess the writer wrote only one requirement for her character-she had to…
I can't believe they will break their lifelong friendship over a girl they met just now. If they do get separated I hope that is not the only reason. I can't think of either of the boys as that type of character yet.

Yeah that or something with his brother. Did we see him yet? Her entire family is weird. She has a backstory, maybe we will see more in the next episode.

My theory is Dr. Goo is Joon. Because after the transplant he gains other ones memory, not vice versa. He is being right-handed, afraid of pigeon, liking So Heon more. If there is not another transplant this is the most logical outcome. Cause in 2023 So Heon treats Dr.Goo as everybody treats Joon Goo Yoo in 2006. It shows she only has feelings for Go Yoo. She thinks Joon only as a friend. If she liked Joon, she wouldn't be so nonchalant. My guess is something happens and Go Yoo leaves both of them behind. Maybe he thought So Heon would be better off with Joon. Or he had side effects so he couldn't play anymore. Something along the line. Now these two are searching for him. That is more logical. And the specs comment was to confuse us. Back then she wasn't interested in Joon, so she may not remember if he wore specs or not. Entirely possible. That is my take from till now. Let's see what happens.
