Chen Yi needs Miao Jing to quickly come back from the trip so he can go back to looking at her yearningly from afar 😂

Currently watching episode 25 and my blood is boiling! What's with Chen Yi's proud face? What have you to be so proud for? Of having two girls at home? Chen Yi, Miao Jing, Tu Li and the kid: the happy family. It's ridiculous!! What non sense is this? 😄

Chen Yi is completely devoted to Miao Ying but won't commit to her.
Miao Ying wants a completely devoted man but likes to feel the independence of being a strong woman against the world.
They both somehow have to learn to meet midway! Chen Yi has to learn that he can both love her, be with her and protect her without keeping her at arms' length and Miao Jing has to learn that she can both be a strong woman and also listen to your loved ones in regards to your safety.

I do think that even as she loves the ml deeply, there was a feeling of vengeance towards Zhang Bin when she decided to come back. She keeps mentioning those six years apart and their stolen future. If Zhang Bing wouldn't have pushed Chen Yi into his world, Chen Yi wouldn't have push her away and he would have kept his promise of never being apart. I think that her decision for leaving the house now is that she is losing control, Chen Yi is back with Zhang Bing and Zhang Bing is still manipulating Chen Yi and even using her to have Chen Yi controlled. I think that was her wake up call. She says on the beach 'I want a devoted man' and knows that that man is Chen Yi. How far would Chen Yi go if ZB makes him do something using her as leverage?
I think her last resort was leaving, hoping that would wake up Chen Yi.
Also, she is very prideful, so Chen Yi completely ignoring her after getting into his bed and going on that trip, probably wounded her pride quite a bit 😄

I agree that the only reason the ml chose to work for Zhang Bin again was for the fl. But I don't get why it's so terrible that Miao Jing wants to expose and bring down Zhang Bing's company... She knows the kind of person ZB is and the shady business he runs. While the fl is trying to destroy Zhang Bing the only way she can, by bringing him to justice the ml is trying to protect her and help the police. My take is that both are doing the same thing and telling the other one to stop. But that in my opinion, Miao Jing has a bit more right to tell Chen Yin to stop because what Chen Yin does involves in a way helping ZB even as he is trying to also take him down by collaborating with the police.

I get that the ml is worried for the fl's safety but what she is doing by investigating Zhang Bin's company is her legitimate job. I understand where the ml is coming from but that's why I don't think it's the same when the fl asks the ml to stop associating with Zhang Bin than when the ml asks her to stop investigating.

She isn't moving into his hotel room. She is in the same hotel floor as the rest of the company staff. Next to her room is her female colleagues' room and on the other side her boss' room. He was just helping her get her luggage up to her room. That's at least what I understood

After what the leads've put me through with episode 22, I was feeling very dramatic too 😂😂

Just finished watching episode 23 and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, thank goodness! At least, it made sense!
I totally get Miao Jing's decision to leave. She has finally realised that her coming back made Chen Yi get closer again to Zhan Bin which isn't at all what Miao Jing wanted. To top it off, she has no say in Chen Yi's life. Chen Yi wanted to go on that dangerous trip and Miao Jing didn't have a say in that decision. What kind of future can you have with someone who completely dismisses what you want and instead of talking and figure it out together he just leaves... If he doesn't learn that being a couple involves making decisions together, he will lose Miao Jing...

Did the crew take a day off and let a thirteen year old girl write episode 22? It was so cringe! Now I'm scared to watch episode 23...

Honestly Tu Li is the cutest thing ever but I am absolutely fed up that her and Cen Ye are still around... It feels like they've been there for an eternity already!
Also, I don't think Cen Ye wiped his hands after shaking hands with Chen Yi out of spite, I think he is a germaphobe or neat freak... He cleaned the table when Chen Yi spilled water when they were at the restaurant, he took the tissue out of Miao Jing's hands to throw it in the bin when they were at the hotel and maybe I'm wrong, but when one of the men in the warehouse wanted to shake his hand, he eluded it by putting his hands away and started talking.

I think that it hasn't been revealed yet all the reasons why she has come back but clearly one of them is that she can't let go of Chen Yi.
As for the multiple exes, there's a lot we don't know and I believe it's done on purpose. It's clear that she did try to get on with her life and that she has dated the swim team guy and Cen Ye but we have no idea how long they were together nor how deep their connection was.

I kind of like the fact that Miao Jing has had exes but Chen Yi hasn't (or at least it's open to the viewer's interpretation). Chen Yi broke up with her not because he wanted to moved on from her but out of necessity (that's the tiny bit we know) but for Miao Jing it was a 100% break up. So, I think it makes sense that Miao Jing did try to move on (but couldn't) and Chen Yi didn't try to move on.

I really like your take! It's very romantic ☺️ Hopefully, I'll start seeing it this way too as the story progresses and the pieces of the puzzle start coming together because all I'm seeing right now is two leads in two very different places in life and very annoyed with (tho attracted to) one another 😂

I really hope it's not his girlfriend because if he has a girlfriend, Miao Jing shouldn't be on the picture. And if Chen Yi still has feelings for the FL, he should break up with his girlfriend first. Being with someone he has no interest in, imo, makes him a crappy person.
And to top it all, Chen Yi has told Miao Jing to leave his home a ton of times already and Miao Jing keeps staying. If he has told her to leave over and over, leave. Regardless if he's right or not, I think some respect for other people's boundaries is the decent thing to do.
Not hating on the drama though 😄 but I think both leads behaviours are being very questionable...

Just finished episode 11, what does Chen Yi's friend have against Miao Jing? He talks about her like she's the devil.
Why is everyone being so mean to the FL? I don't understand. It made me root for her not to come back and enjoy her life far away from there even more so that Chen Yi has a girlfriend!? Why!? 💔😭 How can I root for Mio Jing and Chen Yi together when Chen Yi's way of acting is so messy and erratic? 😬

Yeah, I suppose so... It's a pity because I am enjoying watching the leads and the team's dynamic but having to watch minutes and minutes of football, my brain disconnects 😄

Currently watching episode 9 and while I can't say I'm bored, there's too much football for my taste...

I've watched 36 episodes at 1.0x without skipping anything and now I'm at episode 37 watching at 2.0x. Not a fan of where the story is going...

Just finishing watching episode 31 and I really hope there is some satisfactory groveling trope from Yao in the next episode. Merely saying 'I'm sorry' after divorcing her doesn't cut it for me 😆
